She lay down at the grass, her arms behind her head staring at the darkening sky. The heavens seemed to match her mood, loneliness creeping inside of her. She had separated herself from people and they all bothered to stay enough from her. It was only HE who had become close to her, protected her from everyone. And it was only HE who had captured her heart. But on one faithful night, he had vanished, leaving no sign that he had been there. He had left her alone to fend for herself, to face the darkness alone, without him. And yet, here she laid where they had first meet, five years later, staring at the empty space. Thunder rumbled as the wetness began to slid her entire body, soaking her completely. She closed her eyes and sighed, feeling thepitter -patter of the rain in her face. Then suddenly, it had stopped, her face was becoming dry. She quickly opened her eyes and spotted a man in black hooded cloak and emerald eyes that stared back at her.

She quickly sat up and stared at him, a blank look appearing on her face. But he only sighed and sat on the grass, staring at the city the lay beyond.

"Why do you lie here, in the rain?" he asked quietly

She turned away from him, staring at the sky, allowing her face to get wet. "Because this is where people cannot find me, where I can be alone and not judged by others." was her simple reply

His emerald eyes stared at her "That is not your only reason,"

She let out a low laugh "This is where I first meet HIM, when he, the first person, acknowledged me. This is also where I last saw him."

His emerald eyes narrowed, "So where is HE?"

She leaned at the tree behind her, exhaling out softly "I... don't know. He just vanished one day, leaving me into the darkness by myself."

"Do you hate him for it?" he whispered

Wetness began to form in her eyes, "No unfortunately, I can't bring myself to hate him. All I can do is hope that someday he will come back for me."

Arms encircled her waist, bringing them closer to the person whom they belonged to. "You really need to learn to bring your hatred out to the world.''

She pulled away from him, backing up "Why did you leave me?"

He let out a low sigh "So you do recognize who I am," he said pulling off his hood, revealing spiky red hair with familiar, gorgeous eyes, having the ability to see right through her.

"Ael," she muttered

"No, no I am known as Axel," brushing a strand of her black hair away from her face.

"You still haven't answered my question." she said, pushing his hand away.

He laughed "And I don't plan on answering you, not yet."

"And then what are you doing here, after all these years."

He smiled "I plan to take back what's mine and to make up for lost time."

She turned away from him, " I may have forgiven, but that doesn't mean I'm going to go with you. You left me after all these and then just appear out of nowhere. if you think that..."

She way quickly cut off by warm lips pressing onto hers. she gasped at his action but that only gave him the opportunity to assault her mouth even further, tasting her sweet essence. He quickly stopped his attack, staring at her brown hues and reddened face.

"Come with me, " he whispered in her ear. "I will make it up to you, for everything I have done and NEVER let you out of my sight."

She stared at his eyes, both holding promise. She slowly nodded and he quickly picked her up, holding her close to his chest, inhaling his aroma. The clouds began to clear, as he carried her away from the world, the destination unknown. Yet she was back in his arms and that was all he needed.
