He pushed the bug rock out of the way. The cub was covered with dirt. Alex picked up the cub by both of his paws. The baby cub was scared. Don't worried little cub, I'm going to take care of you. He looked on his wrist & saw bite marks on him. Alex turned to Simba. Simba go to the car & get the
First-Aid kit. Simba grabbed the kit to Alex. Alex wiped all the blood off & notice the cut were pretty deep & carried him to the car & take him to the emergency room.
Meman examined the cuts. Were did you find this cub. asked Melman. We were on a hike & the boy went into this cave & Nitro found him under a rock. He was dirty.
Melman cleaned off the wounds & start to work n him & patch it up. Melman notice something else on his other arm, Is was a medical Alert bracelet.. The baby cub went on the sheet & had Alex gave him a sponge bath. Melman talk to Alex. Alex, this cub maybe medically fragile. I may have to admit him for tests. Melman took him to a room & examined the cub. He used a straight catheter to get some urine an ,EEG drew some blood & send to the lab. Melman was talking to the cub. Hi there. Alex found something that was disturbing & printed up for Melman. Melman red it over & looked at Alex. This can't be. The parents of the cubs were dying & before they do, they hid there cub into a cave. How do you explain the dirt on his fur? Alex asks. Well he must ben rolling in the mud until the parents picked him up. melman looked at the paper. Melman was shock. Cub was stuck in there for 6 day without food. You son just saved him from dying. I need to place a feeding tube in him to feed him nourishment.. Melman use an NG tube to place it down his nose into his stomach & started to inject nourishment plus Lorenzo oil. Alex went to the cub. Why are you injecting that? Alex asks. The labs came back & he may have ALD. Alex thought of this. My wife & I seen the movie last week. What was the fatty acid level. That night, Alex watched the movie on dvd to take was in the scence when Lorenzo was in the Hospital when Gia came downstairs. Well the kids are in bed.

After a couple hours of sleep, Alex's pager went off on the night stand & woke up Alex & looked at his pager. Alex phoned the Hospital & it was Melman. Alex came to the Hospital. Melman told Alex that this cub is full medically fragile. His name is Lorenzo. He needs urinary catheters because his sphincter muscle cannot hold his bladder muscle. His EEG results is part of his brain got damage because theta heavy rock was pushing against his skull destroy his blood cells & the brain could not send a message to his bladder. Alex felt bad for him. Lorenzo was discharge He was talking to Melman about adoption. Melman gathered all the care supplies from the Hospital supply shop. Catheter, Drainage Bags. Alex is willing to adopt Lorenzo.
Alex came home with Lorenzo. The boy came downstairs & meet the little cub.
