she wants
encircled and entwined
in peace she lies
draped
across her lover's arms
In this moment
she's blissfully
unaware
[of that raw gaping hole
it is of little
consequence
she gazes into his eyes
bright
desperate
he's
all too aware
it's
as if
time
stopped
this moment
is
forever
Her love
will last
an eternity
