Dobby's Diary- Trouble
Dear Diary,
Dobby is in so much trouble! Master has had too much drink last night, and he was furious. He came into the servant quarters, looking to punish someone, when he saw Dobby writing in his diary.
Dobby was just writing! Dobby knows that it is against the rules for him to know how to write. I think Mistress Malfoy knew, ever since the spelling, but she is much kinder than Master. Master is just a bully, and mean.
Dobby had to drop a weight on his feet for saying that, but it is true. Master had him locked inside a dark closet, and took his diary away.
Dobby knows where he hid the diary, because he had to sneak around to find it hidden in the office while Master had more drink. Dobby is writing on a piece of paper now, so Master doesn't know he found the diary, but Dobby must burn this afterwards so Master doesn't find it. Dobby would take the diary away if he could, but Master would know something happened.
Dobby fears that he will read it, and find Dobby's insolent thoughts. Master will know that Dobby wants to be free. That is rebellious thinking, which is not allowed. Even worse, Master might find out about the pranking! And the Harry Potter support!
There are footsteps on the stairs! Dobby must go now!
