The typical OC
Now, either you read a fanfiction, or you have seen one, there is the typical or also called stereotypical OC. They can be male or female, but females are more common.
Please read this if you are unaware of what they are.
Let's clear on what a OC is. An OC, which is the abbreviated term for original character, is the persons anime/cartoon self. Some people make their character like this:
Crystal walked into the classroom and everyone gawked at how beautiful/stunning/pretty/sexy the new student was. She had long super gorgeous blonde hair and all the girls were jealous. She was also super skinny, and probably wore a size negative negative negative negative twenty also lives by herself in her expensive thousand dollar apartment in new york. Oh, and every single male in the classroom automatically starts the 'love at first sight ' thing and falls in love with her.
This is a basic summary of what a stereotypical OC is. Some examples are that the female character will be super smart, loved by everyone, has bunches and bunches of secret admirers, usually has a huge chest and is strong but, usually let's the male protect her because she acts super defenseless. An opposite of this trait is my friend's OC, aioro, she is strong but would never let a man fight for her so she can act super useless and defenseless. Neither would my cousin's OC shadow. Bolth would probably kick the enemy's ass and win the fight while the male hero cowered in the corner.
And now let's start on what a basic male OC looks like, Usaully is very gothic, emo, super hawt, and a ladies man. But male ones are less common.
Now that you have read what the stereotypical OC is like, also called marry-sue in many cases, please beware of making ur character like this XD
