"MAN I LOVE THIS SCHOOL," Tori exclaimed
Beck looked over at Jade and saw tears filling her eyes.
Oh my GOD, he thought to himself, what have I done?
She composed herself and left the room.
"I GOTTA GO," Beck said and raced after her.
He hadn't been thinking at the time. He had forgotten how insecure Jade really was. She was obviously having a bad day and it was too much to handle. That kiss with Tori meant absolutely nothing to him. Jade was the only one he had ever loved and the only one he WILL ever love.
He followed her outside where he was horrified to realize she was up on the roof.
"JADE NO," he yelled anxiously
She ignored him almost as if she were in a trance. She couldn't hear, see think or respond. Her legs just seemed to control her body.
He grabbed her and pulled her back.
"Jade," he exclaimed, "What are you doing? WHAT were you thinking?"
"Let me GO," she yelled, "I can't live without you. Without you I'm better off dead."
He refused to let her go.
"Jade," he said firmly, "I want you to look at me and listen to what I'm going to say"
She did. He seemed to have that power over her. He was the only person she would listen to.
"That kiss with Tori meant absolutely nothing. I do not love her. I like her but no more then a friend. I LOVE you on the other hand. You are my reason"
"So why did you kiss her," Jade asked
"I didn't think it through," Beck said
He wasn't about to tell her the truth. Tori thought that Jade needed to be 'punished' for pouring coffee all over her. Beck had STUPIDLY agreed even though Jade was already going through a tough time and the plan was set in motion.
Beck cried when he thought about how close he came to losing Jade.
"Beck," Jade whispered, "Are you crying?"
"I can't live without you," he told her, "I came so close to losing you and… I just can't make it without you"
Jade would never know the truth behind that kiss. Beck would never let her be hurt again"
