"It's sad to see that two close people don't even recognize each other anymore. Not because they grew up... but because they grew apart."

Tatsuki, now at age 26, was a bit pissed off. She had broken her arm right before the finals for the karate championships AGAIN. For the second time in her life she was ranked number two. For Tatsuki two was just not good enough. One was all that there was. So she decided as she marched out of the small hospital that had bandaged her up, all the while ignoring her completely pansy ass manager, that she was going to pour her heart and soul into training for next year. For now though she was going to work off her anger, not being able to train was a bit of a misfortune, but there were other ways to help her feel better.

As many women do while in a foul mood Tatsuki was heading towards for the small ice cream shop that she was a frequent visitor of in Karakura. People usually avoided her when she was in this type of mood as the average person on the street could tell that this woman was past the point of being simply angry and that it was an extremely bad idea to get in her way. However, this time someone didn't get out of her way and because Tatsuki was looking down she failed to notice the man in front of her thus leading to her promptly smacking right into him and the falling down that occurred afterword.

"Watch where you're going you ass—" Tatsuki had started to rant off on him as soon as she had gotten up, on her own mind you, that bastard didn't offer any help. Then she noticed the shock of orange hair, the dark brown eyes and perpetual scowl etched into the man's face.

"Ichigo Kurosaki?" She spoke the simple name of her childhood friend who she had not seen for, so long. The boy who she would beat up at the dojo and would go running to his mother soon after. The boy who had a secret that he wouldn't share in high school until Tatsuki pried the truth out of a man in a silly hat. The boy who vanished as soon as high school ended. The man who stood before her. Someone who she hadn't had contact with in years, right there in front of her.

He spoke. "How do you know my name and who are you?"

Tatsuki froze and looked for some recognition in his eyes but there was none to be found.
