All was silent as night fell upon the Sunami Castle. The grounds were all but still as the forms of guards moved around the surrounded courtyard. The large, heavy gates were heavily guarded and the Castle, a fortress in everything if not name, seemed impervious to attack.
It seemed that the guards were also under this impression. They didn't hear the two light thumps on the roof of one of the halls making up one of the courtyard's walls. They didn't see the two shadows running crouched along the roof. They didn't know that the two shadows ever entered the main hall beyond the courtyard. All they knew was that they were safe.
Chapter One
The two shadows entered the main hall of the castle through the window and both dropped to the floor. They rose from crouched positions, barely visible in the gathering darkness. One was slightly taller, only his piercing blue eyes visible through his dark garb... His eyes and his hair pulled into a ponytail appearing through the back of his black mask. His shorter companion was dressed in a deep, dark, blue uniform of the same make, his dark eyes searching the shadows around them.
The room the had entered had four doors; the entrance, doors to the right and left, and a door ahead of them. With a glance at his companion, the taller ninja, Fang, moved to the door on his right. The slightly shorter ninja, Hanzo, headed to the door on his left. Both opened and closed the doors behin them, making less sound then the guard who entered from the door not chosen.
