Percy. He was all she could think about. All she could talk about. Annabeth had missed him so much! And now they would meet again, finally. She hoped he remembered her, because she couldn't handle it if he didn't. She thought back on all the good times they had together. One memory stood out in her mind, and it brought a smile to her lips and a sparkle to her eyes. The summer before everything went wrong again, just after the titan war. The summer of the prank war.

THE PRANK WARS

"Pleeeaaaase Annabeth? Pretty please?" Percy begged. "You never have any time off! JUST this summer, take a vacation from the remodeling and come to camp! You've been working all school year, you deserve a break!"

Annabeth frowned and sighed.

Percy smiled as he saw Annabeth's willpower begin to crumble. He knew she couldn't resist the temptation of a summer just the two of them, and truthfully neither could he! He had given up a summer under at his fathers palace for this, and he was going to make every day count.

"Ugh, fine. I'll come back to camp." Annabeth pretended to be annoyed, but the sparkle in her gray eyes gave her away.

"YES!" Percy punched the air. This would be the best summer ever!

AT CAMP

Percy and Annabeth dashed past the boundaries, not even stopping to pet the dragon coiled around the trunk of Thalia's tree. The couple bolted down the him and bounded up the steps to the Big House.

"HA!" Annabeth yelled as she slammed her hand onto the doorbell. "Every time!"

Percy rolled his eyes and bent over with his hands on his knees, trying to catch his breath. "Yeah, yeah, whatever!"

Annabeth grinned and grabbed her boyfriends arm, pulling him with her into the Big House.

"Hey Chiron!" She said cheerfully, dragging Percy to his office.

"Why hello Annabeth!" Chiron looked up, surprised to see his favorite student at camp. "What are you doing here?"

"Percy forced me to come," Annabeth said with a smile.

Percy rolled his eyes. "Oh yes, it must be killing you to be here."

Chiron frowned, then smiled from ear to ear. "Annabeth my dear, would you please go check on the Hypnos cabin for me? We have some new recruits in the Ares cabin and they apparently think it is the best fun it the world to prank the demigods while they sleep. Just this morning Clovis got up to go to the bathroom and was nearly killed by a landmine at the foot of his bed!"

"Sure," Annabeth agreed, "I'll make sure Clarisse hasn't put them up to anything." She kissed Percy on the cheek and ran out the door.

"So," Chiron turned to Percy the moment they heard the front door slam. "It seems Annabeth has forgotten how exciting this camp is. So I propose a plan."

Percy grinned slyly. "I was thinking the same thing! What do you have in mind?"

"A prank war," Chiron suggested. "Convince Travis and Conner that its a good idea to prank the Demeter cabin. They'll do it in a heartbeat since they already want to get back at Katie. Also, suggest to Clarisse that she should pull a trick on the Apollo cabin, and tell the Hephaestus kids they should pull a trick on the Aphrodite kids. Get Hecate to trick Athena's cabin. You, my friend, will trick Annabeth alone. It's perfect, and it will produce a perfect prank storm! M job, of course, is to make sure it doesn't get out of hand."

"Wow, Chiron! I never knew you could be so devious!" Percy tingled with excitement. "I am in!"

"Well then," Chiron grinned mischievously, "Let the games begin!"
