The Postcard

Written for LJ Caperland challenge. Post-Out Of The Box. Mozzie told Neal to send him a postcard... so he did.

"Send me a postcard."

Kate's dead.

Back at June's.

That's all the postcard said. Mozzie wasn't quite sure whether to be amused that Neal had actually sent him a postcard even though it turns out he hadn't left or to be shocked and horrified at the first two words.

Well. He wasn't actually shocked. He figured something like this would happen. Maybe not her dying but happy ever afters don't work for guys like him and Neal. And he wasn't exactly horrified, either. He'd always liked Alex better than Kate.

So amused it was. With a chuckle, he tucked the postcard in his pocket and headed off to June's. It was time to see Neal again.
