Ok This is my very first poem for Final Fantasy, So be nice and please review and critique or flame. Whatever is fine.
Happy Day
Rikku sat staring at the Oasis as Gippal sat staring at her. He looked kinda nervous and very anxious. He was holding a folded up piece of paper in his hand. Finally he said, "Umm..Rikku?"
"What?" she asked nonchalantly.
"There's somthin that I wanna..That I wanna say to you."
He reached is his bag and pulled out a rose.
Rikku gasped. "Gippal! It's lovely!"
"It's a Tacand Nuca"
Rikku's eyes got big. "Gippal! Those are pretty rare. Thank you so much!" she exclaimed.
They sat there for a minute. Then Rikku asked, "So, what did you want to tell me?"
Gippal wiped the sweat from his brow. He unfolded the peace of paper.
He started to read...
"More precious then silver,
More expensive than gold.
Like the rarest diamond,
Its one of a kind and
The key to my heart you hold.
Be careful with it,
There's no spare just one.
And it belongs to you
So guard it with your love
It opens my heart,
A secret world.
You'll find my love my world,
My pain , my joy my private emotions
Hidden from all but one
The very key to my soul,
It's the key to my heart you hold"
Rikku wiped a tear from her eye as she hugged Gippal. "Oh Gippal," she started, but Gippal cut her off. "Rikku We've been dating for about a year now. And I want you to know, you're the love of my life, the girl of my dreams. And now I ask you," He pulled something out of his pocket. A ring box. Rikku started to cry.
"Rikku," he took her hand, "Will you be my wife?"
Rikku leaned in and kissed him.
"Yes! Yes of course!" Gippal, relieved, Hugged her tight.
"Rikku," he said, "this is the happiest day of my life."
Ok. So what did you think? Should I keep this story going or leave it as a one shot? Or mabey do another oneshot...make it like 10 years later? Hmm? TELL ME!
