~¤~ MIDDLE-EARTH ~¤~
Sing to the tune of "Yellow Submarine".

In the land of the Shire,
Lives a hobbit whom I admire.
He loves to dance, he loves to sing,
And he owns a golden ring.

As he set out on his quest,
He wore his favourite vest.
His friend Sam wanted to come,
So Frodo asked him to tag along.

Chorus:
We all live in Middle-earth,
In Middle-earth,
In Middle-earth.
We all live in Middle-earth,
In Middle-earth,
In Middle-earth.

So their journey began,
As they walked through fields, and walked through sand.
They stole some vegetables, they stole some fruit,
Merry and Pippin joined their group.

And now they were a group of four,
They didn't want anymore.
So now they left, for the town of Bree,
They jumped and yelled YIPPEE!

CHORUS

As soon as they began to stride,
A Black Rider made them hide.
They were overwhelmed with fear,
He never saw them, so he disappeared.

They arrived in the town of Bree,
And met a man who would help them for free.
His name was Strider,
He was a noble, kind, Ranger.

CHORUS

He helped them escape,
And took them away.
He knew the Black Riders,
And knew the hobbits would get hurt.

They reached Weathertop,
A large mountain, where they would stop.
The hobbits got a good sleep,
And Strider didn't hear a peep.

CHORUS

But the Riders did arrive,
They had a fight with the five.
No one but Frodo got hurt,
He was stabbed, now he was injured.

The leader was the Witch-king,
He tried to take Frodo's ring.
But instead, he stabbed him,
And the outlook was very grim.

CHORUS

But Frodo did survive,
He got to Rivendell, alive.
The elves were very kind,
They helped him, they didn't mind.

The ring that Frodo had,
Was supposedly very bad.
So a fellowship will be formed,
Of elves, hobbits, and dwarves.

CHORUS

Now don't forget Gandalf,
He's not a hobbit, or an elf.
He is smart, he is wise.
Which is absolutely no surprise.

This wizard will be their guide,
Through dark days, through sunny skies.
Soon they will be gone,
What's next? That's another song.
