Author´s Note: I decided to mash the two franchises together so I came up with this little test one-shot. But its a test, I will change many things later on.
''It is highly peculiar how someone can find this entertaining.'' Sarah said. The blond Vulcan stared at the small paddle. The game takes place on a hard table divided by a net. Except for the initial serve, players must allow a ball played toward them only one bounce on their side of the table and must return it so that it bounces on the opposite side. Points are scored when a player fails to return the ball within the rules. Play is fast and demands quick reactions. Spinning the ball alters its trajectory and limits an opponent's options, giving the hitter a great advantage. When doing so the hitter has a good chance of scoring if the spin is successful.
''Its fun.'' Chuck said. The medical doctor had introduced the unemotional engineer to the game of Ping Pong.
''If you insist.'' Sarah replied.
Chuck hit the miniature white ball across the tablet which Sarah hit back. Eventually Chuck tired out, the ball hitting the wall behind him. Her superior stamina and reflexes giving her the upper hand.
''You play a good game.'' Chuck laughed while catching his breath.
''You are correct, this game truly is entertaining.'' Her lips formed a small smile, it was truly shocking she was normally so formal and monotone.
''Doctor Bartowski, Colonel Casey has awoken from his coma.'' said the computer. Chuck had operated on the half-Klingon a few hours ago after an epic battle with the Cardassians, he was injured requiring surgery.
Chuck sighed, duty calls.
