Here's the story I did at Sarah Banks (a middle school) when I had to go there. It was supposed to be African folk-tale but I ended up changing it into a Japanese folk-tale. Not all credit goes to me however. Half of the credit goes to my friend Jasmine. Original names: Kykoro—fox-youkai. / Ichigo—raccoon-dog. This is a one-shot story. And my friend Tigger ish awesome. So are you Ash and Alicia.

Ramen Is Meant To Be Shared

On a very wintry day, a fox-youkai named Shippou was eating some of his ramen when, when his best friend--Hachi, a raccoon-dog--dropped by for a visit.

"Oi dude! I want some ramen!! Can I have some?" asked Hachi.

Shippou huffed and swallowed a gulp of his ramen. "Hmm...? No."

"Why can't I? You know that I like it too and you're just greedy!" whined Hachi.

Shippou glanced up from his bowl of ramen. "I'm not greedy. You are just whiny."

"I am not! Now you better give me some of that friggin' ramen!" screeched Hachi.

"Umm..." Shippou said as he glanced between his bowl of ramen and his best friend, "No ramen for you. Mine. Not yours."

"WHAT?! Ramen is my favourite too! Not just yours you slimy yeller-belly!" Hachi barked.

"I'm not a slimy yeller-belly you ugly rodent thing." Exclaimed Shippou with a smirk.

"You just crossed the line. We are friends no longer." Hachi stated with a hurt whimper.

"Well then, you'll just have to...eat...my...dandruff."

"What?"

"I don't know." Shippou shrugged.

"Good-bye you lumpy week-old ramen chopsticks."

Shippou looked back over his shoulder at his previous friend and stated bitterly, "Bye. You smell like twelve-year-old deteriorating egg-rolls."

Hachi huffed and turned away, walking up to his mother who had watched the whole thing with a stunned look.

Hachi's mother looked at her son and whispered in his little ear. "Darling...No. More. Fighting. With. Friends. Over. Ramen. Got it?"

Hachi sighed tiredly.

Hachi's mother sighed with a tone of annoyance.

The next day, Shippou decided he wanted his best friend back and grabbed about seven packages of ramen for Hachi. He sighed and rubbed his tail.

Shippou approached Hachi's den and knocked on the stone wall.

"Hachi...I'm sorry...I'll share...Ramen has mind controlling powers...can we still be friends?" Shippou waited quietly for an answer.

A subtle, elated sigh was emitted from the back of the den. "Yes...!!" Hachi sprinted on his short little legs to the front of his home.

The friend fell into a huggle of friendship. "Friends?" they asked each other in unison, Shippou handing Hachi the ramen he brought.

"Friends." Again in unison.

Once again, they were friends.

The next day, they were seen eating ramen together and had huge grins on their faces.

The moral of this story is that sharing is caring. So remember, the next time you see a raccoon-dog and a fox-youkai fighting over ramen, tell them that and that may cease the problem.

Woohoo! This was fun to retype! Umm...thanks for reading. Please review and tell me what you think! Sayonara!
