Harry could hardly believe it. After all the months of planning, after all the laughs, the tears and the fights, the day had come.

Harry Potter was getting married. Married to the woman he loved. Ginny Weasley. Or soon to be known as Ginny Potter.

Harry put on his dress robes. He hoped to god that he wouldn't screw up this day. No one was going to attack him. No one was going to wreck his wedding. But that didn't mean that he wouldn't wreck his own wedding.

Someone knocked on the door. "Can I come in? It's Arthur."

"Come in."

Arthur Weasley stepped into the room. His red hair already streaked with grey and his glasses askew, he was the main father-like figure in Harry's life. He looked at Harry and smiled.

"Feeling a little nervous?"

Harry nodded then he looked at the floor. "Yeah. I'm afraid that I might screw up."

Arthur laughed. "Most of the men are on their wedding day. It's just the way things are. Of course Ron will be very surprised when it is time for his wedding day and he is just as nervous as you are today."

Harry snorted relieving some of his nerves.

"Is everyone ready and in their places?" Harry asked

"Yes, it's your turn to walk in. The Ginny will follow." Arthur patted his shoulder. "You'll do fine."

"Thanks." Harry stood up and walked out of the room. He then walked outside and took his place. Harry looked around.

The arch below which he and Ginny would be married, was golden with white lilies weaved in and out of the golden bars. Since it was fall, the red and orange leaves of the two oak trees draped over the aisle, making a form of a tent. Lily petals were spread all throughout the chairs. The sun was just about to set, giving the overall effect a warm golden feeling.

"This is it," Harry thought as the music started, stating that Ginny was on her way. "There is no turning back."

The sight of Ginny nearly took his breath away. She was in a simple white dress that dragged on the ground. Her veil draped over her like a snowy water fall. Yet you could still see her fiery red hair below it, fanning out behind her, rippling as she walked.

When Arthur put her next to Harry, he flipped off Ginny's veil, showing how beautiful she was underneath the silky material. As Arthur walked to his seat, he whispered to Harry, "Take good care of her."

Harry saw Ginny's beautiful eyes, so wide, so scared. And yet, so happy. Ginny looked like this was the best day of her life. And Harry realized that it was.

So under the golden sun, Harry and Ginny were joined in holy matrimony, and together they became one.
