I was on my way to the beach. It was a great night for what I was planning to do. The stars were shining the moon was extra beautiful like Artemis was doing this just for my reasons. For those who don't know who I am, my name is Perseus Jackson, everyone calls me Percy. I am the saviour of Olympus, if you haven't heard I helped the gods win the second Titan war along with the rest of camp. I'd rather not tell you about it. I live at a place called camp half-blood a place for us demigods. Children of the Greek gods but we aren't immortal. Anyway I was on my way to see my girlfriend it was our 5 year anniversary and I was going to propose. I'd decided that the beach was the best place and I told her to meet me there. As I got closer to the beach I heard giggling and some girl saying " Your so funny Chad!" and the said Chad saying " Anything for you baby"

I figured it was just another couple hanging out on the beach for their anniversary. When I got to the beach I saw the couple the girl had blonde princess type hair and looked athletic to sum it up she looked like my girlfriend Annabeth who helped us win the war and also redesigned Olympus. The boy Chad had black hair, tan skin and was dressed in black he looked like an Ares camper. When I looked around I couldn't find Annabeth. Then the Ares camper said "Annabeth I should leave cause your expecting Percy" and Annabeth replied "don't go too far away. I'm going to break up with him." from behind both of them I said to Annabeth "How could you do this to me? 4 years Annabeth? How long have you been cheating on me?" she turned around startled and replied "Percy I'm sorry. Its just I needed company while I was at Olympus and he was there all the time, he was there to help me to be my assistant." I replied "How long Annabeth?" she answered "2 years" I said " I guess you're happy now, its over. Oh! You can keep this," and I threw the grey velvet box in the sand in front of her and said, " I was going to propose".

After that I walked away from the scene and slowly disintegrated into vapour, something I'd learnt to do as a way of teleporting myself back to my cabin. When I got there I realised something. I was invincible but when I was in the Styx I thought of Annabeth as what was keeping me mortal, if I was right then when Annabeth broke my heart and I started to hate her I would lose my mortal spot and become immortal. Not as thrilling as you'd think because that would mean I wouldn't be able to go out with mortal women and making them my wife without making them my immortal wife.

I decided to go speak to Chiron. On my way to the big house I reminisced about the old days and quests. Zeus's lightning bolt, the golden fleece, holding up the sky with Annabeth, blowing up Mt. Saint Helens and giving the dagger to Luke/Kronos. When I got to the big house, I went inside and called out "CHIRON!" and Chiron appeared, I told him my situation and that I would sing one song, reflecting my emotions and explain why I'm leaving, tomorrow at the camp-fire and then I would disappear and go back to live with my mum and go to a normal school.
