Alec and Magnus were lounging on the couch, watching some random rerun on TV on a snowy day in February. Suddenly Magnus stood up and started out of the flat, not saying a word. Alec, for a reason completely unbeknownst to him, followed him. He followed him completely out of the building. The two boys, Alec with no coat or shoes, or even socks, and Magnus standing about 5 feet in front of him with shoes, but no coat, stood in the 3 inches of snow.
"Why, exactly, did we come out here?" Alec asked.
"Well, I came out here to see if it was still snowing, and you followed me." Magnus answered, then bent down, picked up a small stick, and proceeded to draw a smiley face in the snow. Alec, toes in the snow, looked down at his feet and hopped from one foot to the other, trying to warm them a little.
Suddenly, cold jolted through Alec's body from the top of his head.
"What the hell?" he shouted, surprised, shaking the snow from his hair. Magnus didn't answer, just laughed at his boyfriend and pointed. "You think that's funny?" Alec asked, leaning down and collected some snow into a ball.
"Uh-oh." was all Magnus said, before taking off in a run.
"Get back here!" Alec yelled, laughing. He threw the snowball, connecting with Magnus's left thigh. Magnus jerked around and made his own snowball, as Alec took off in the opposite direction. Magnus threw, hitting Alec's shoulder. Alec turned around and he and Magnus started an all out snowball war.
10 minutes later, they collapsed together in the snow, exhausted, shivering, Alec's toes red, laughing their heads off.
"I -haha- I think I have -shiver- frostbite in my -haha- toes!" Alec said between laughs and shivers.
"I -haha- I wouldn't be surprised! Where are -haha!- are your shoes?"
"I left them inside! I didn't think we'd -haha- be running around in the -shiver- snow!"
"W-well, I'm freezing! Let's get back inside!"
Magnus stood up and offered his hand to Alec. Alec took it and Magnus pulled him up out of the snow.
"My feet are freezing!" Alec complains as he stands up.
Magnus laughs again and leads him into the building.
