Kirby: Origins
Prologue
Inside a nest made of puffy clouds, a pink egg laid in the middle as it rested softly against the puffy texture. It laid quietly for another two hours before it started shaking resulting in the egg beginning to crack. It generated a small crowd of ball-like creatures around it. "Look! It's hatching!" one of the creatures said as they all watched the egg in curiosity, the creatures gasped as a hole was made in the egg, they all squeezed together, hoping to get first glimpse of the new born. They all saw something moving around in the egg before they all saw a eye tiredly peak out at them, "It looks soooooooooo cute!" one of the purple balls shouted, with a few others nodding in agreement. The newborn's senses haven't properly developed yet and he was scared and confused by the new surroundings he saw through the hole.
"Why is it not coming out?" the purple ball from earlier asked an person who was out of the newborns sight. "I think its a little bit shy..." a robotic voice said, "I don't think it's able to handle large crowds, kids, go do your own thing for a while. I'm gonna go get this guy ready for the nursery." the robotic voice said to all the creatures as they ran off and dissolved into smaller groups. The newborn felt the egg being picked up before being taken out of the room, it was taken into another room which appeared to be an office. The creature peaked through the hole to see a spherical robot, which was typing something on a computer before paying its attention to the egg again.
The creature head the door open before he peeked out of the egg again, seeing another ball but this time it was red and was bigger, it went towards the creature and started taking apart the egg, revealing a small pink ball, "I think his name is gonna be... Kirby!" the red ball said, pointing at the creature. The robot picked up Kirby and took him to some sort of changing room.
The robot walked over to a chair and placed Kirby down onto it before walking over to a cabinet to get two objects out before it walked to a fridge, while Kirby watch curiously. The robot came back a few minutes later with a baby bottle filled with milk, the robot sat down and placed Kirby onto it's lap. The robot guided the end of the bottle into the puffballs mouth and Kirby started drinking it, enjoying the milk that was flowing into his mouth. Eventually Kirby finished the milk and the robot went to go put the bottle away, before coming back with a pacifier.
The robot slowly put the pacifier inside Kirby's mouth, the robot then then took Kirby to a dark room and laid him down inside a crib before walking out of the room and shutting the door, Kirby started to get drowsy and eventually fell asleep, ready for the life that awaits him.
Had this idea running in my head for a while.
