Sandy and Soda were on a date, they were going to go the football game then to Ihop then to the drive in. Everything was going well until Soda looked over his girlfriend's shoulder and yelled,"HEY STEVE!"

Sandy groaned, not again!

Sure enough Soda had invited Steve to tag along, claimming he felt bad about leaving his bestfriend alone tonight since Steve and Evie broke up and Sandy wasn't going to be alone with her man tonight.
"You took me out for waffles and to the movies I was hoping for romance You even took me to the Mexican circus I thought there was a chance we'd be alone"
About a week later the circus was in town and Soda was taking Sandy. Before they headed off to the circus though they stopped at an Ihop to grab some waffles and guess who was there with Soda when the blonde girl arrived.

Soda said that since Darry, Ponyboy, Johnny and Two-bit were out in California for a convention and since Dally was in the cooler he felt bad about leaving Steve alone since he had yet to get back with Evie.

Ok so Sandy didn't hate Steve, all in all he was a pretty awesome guy even though he had 'daddy issues', a short-fuse and talked about cars alot but she was dating Soda and wanted 'Alone time'.

Sandy was honestly begainning to wonder about Soda's sexualty, he was spending that much time with Steve!

Sandy was getting fed up with Steve and Soda, so she broke it off with her boyfriend. Honestly what guy would rather hang out with his bestfriend instead of his girlfriend?

Sandy saw Soda and Steve afew weeks later at the DX station, neither noticed her because they were to busy smooching eachother. When they finally took notice she only smiled and softly said,"I knew it."

Soda stayed with Steve, but he and Sandy managed to become friends.
