The Heavenly Son was having a really bad day. It was the type of day that made Him wish that He was a little child again. He sat down on a large rock and let the tears fill their eyes. All of a sudden a little girl, days away from four years old came up to Him and sat on His lap.
"Don't cwy," she told Him wiping away the tears with her thumb.
He looked down at her.
"There's no need to cwy," she told Him, "You tings akiven"
He was stunned but in a way that was good.
"Where did you hear that child," He asked her.
"I hearded it fwom you," she said, "and when you sawy it, it makes peple happy"
He dried His eyes. A smile lit up His face.
"You know," He said looking at this little girl, "I thank you for what you said. Sometimes I need to be reminded that things are still good and beuatiful."
And from that moment on He would always keep that child's innocent words in His heart"
Please note this is a story about childhood innocence. Do not tell me that He is free of sin. I understand that. The child was 3 years old and she was looking at it from the standpoint of an INNOCENT CHILD who saw what made people smile. It reminded Him of the beauty in this world.
