A short darkstoneshipping one-shot for dewdrop6. This is my first darkstoneshipping story, please review and enjoy!

Fun

Platinum stared at the boy from across the room. The Game Corner slot room, that is.

Two of her seniors had invited her along a few days back. Of course, Diamond and Pearl had disagreed with the idea, even if she was going with their friends/seniors.

"You can't go, Missy! Remember what happened in Veilstone?" Diamond told her while flailing his arms around.

"It's not good for you! You'll get really addicted to it, I tell you!" Pearl yelled in panic.

Fortunately, Senior Blue had assured them that everything would be all right.

"It's fine, boys. I'll make sure she doesn't overdo it." She winked at them.

Platinum didn't really understand why they were so protective of her. They were only slot machines, for heaven's sake!

Senior Blue had kept her word. After about five rounds, Blue made her get off for a while to make sure she didn't 'lose herself in the game'. It wasn't very fun to sit by the sidelines and do nothing.

So that's why she was examining a certain golden-eyed teen at the slot machine nearby. He was one of her seniors-older, more experienced, and definitely stronger than she was. He looked rather good-looking as well. With spiky brown-black hair and a tall and handsome physique. Platinum racked her brain for his name, but she just couldn't remember.

She barely noticed Blue get up from the machine to go to the front desk for a prize exchange. Just as her senior disappeared from sight, someone grabbed her wrist and pulled her out of her chair. Panicked, she ripped her hand from the grip and started to retreat until she saw the face of her supposed enemy.

"Hey, hey! I'm not dangerous, I'm-"

"O-oh...sorry...senior..."

Platinum looked to the floor, embarrassed.

The boy scratched rubbed his neck sheepishly, "Well, anyhow, c'mon and play a couple of rounds before Blue gets back."

She looked up at him, "Huh?"

"You...looked bored sitting there," he said, "You should be having fun, not sitting around doing nothing."

Was he telling her to disobey Senior Blue?

He saw the hesitation on her face and said, "Come on, you know you want to! Just a few rounds, I wanna see what you're capable of, Junior." He outstretched his hand.

Was this a challenge?

If he put it that way, how could she back down?

She grabbed his hand as they both ran to the slot machine. Platinum sat down and began to press the buttons in a consecutive order. The other teen watched her skill with a smirk gorwing on his face. This girl was good.

Coins spilled out of the machine at a quick rate, with both Pokedex Owners grinning giddily with excitement glowing in their similar coloured eyes.

"You're awesome at this, uhh..." he trailed off, not knowing her name.

"Platinum," she said, giggling.

That's odd, why did she tell her name so casually when she couldn't tell anyone else?

"You are pretty skilled yourself, Senior." She complimented him.

"Gold," he says, "Just call me Gold."

"Okay...Gold," she giggled again.

What exactly was she giggling about anyway? Gold thought with a bit of curiosity.

Whatever, all that mattered was that she was having fun.

From afar, Blue giggled at the two's antics. Maybe she should bring these two to the Game Corner more often.

A/N: Hmm, that was definitely a new experience for me...did I do well? Did I make you wanna puke? Tell me in the form of a review!
