Long ago, long before Flynn Rider met Rapunzel, he ended up having a small problem of his own...
It all started when he was running from crooks. His routine was usually the same; steal money from crooks, run, find a wanted poster with him on it, complain about how they always never get his nose right, run some more, hide, wait for all to be safe, and run some more.
But today, well, was a little more different. He managed to steal a sack of money from crooks and then, he ran, then he found a wanted poster with him on it, complained about how they always never got his nose right, and then, he ran some more.
But, as he ran, he stumbled on a nearby rock and fell with a splash into a nearby puddle. He got himself up, shook himself dry, slipped into a nearby bush and hid, as he heard some palace guards appear.
The Palace guards got nearer and nearer to where Flynn was hiding, and then there was a flash of green smoke from behind the bush. The guards saw it, but didn't look behind the bush. Instead, they walked by, as if nothing ever happened.
But something HAD happened, and if the guards HAD looked behind the bush, they would have seen a very strange and surprising sight: Flynn Rider's clothes lying behind the bush! But the stranger thing had happened to the wearer of those clothes, and what was it, may you ask? I'll tell you.
Flynn awoke to see a pale white cave made of fabric. And he noticed some text on the floor which read, 'If Lost, Please Return To Flynn Rider'. Flynn looked and saw a light from a big hole in the cave. He headed toward it, and saw that there was a big bush from the cave. When he got outside, he saw a huge floor of grass, and some boots that looked like his own, but much bigger!
And the stranger sight was when he looked at what was supposed to be his hands. What he saw wasn't his hands - they were green and webbed! He stared at his feet, and discovered they were green, and the toes were elongated and had a pale webbing inbetween them. He looked at his reflection in the puddle he'd fell into, and screamed. He saw a huge frog with his head and hair, and by then, it only took in a tenth of a second to realize what just had happened to him:
FLYNN RIDER HAD TURNED INTO A FROG!
He pulled himself into a ball and hyperventilated. But as he did he felt a sharp pain strike his chest. It spread to his feet, and his head, and slowly, the changes worked in reverse!
His feet gained 5 toes and lost the webbing and elongation, and his hands lost the webbing, and his skin turned from green to tan flesh. And he grew back to normal size too. Flynn Rider was back to normal, and naked! In shock of popping back to normal, he fell backwards into the puddle he fell into earlier with a big splash!
Flynn awoke to find himself lying in a nearby river. He'd stuffed his sack of money in his waistcoat for safekeeping. But he was rather soaked. He managed to get onto a nearby bank, shake himself dry, and took off his boots and poured the water out. But then, he saw a strange tan webbing in between his toes!
Man is this deja vu or what?
