I wrote this because in the end of the Christmas special I thought Amy could be pregnant. And since she said two years I'm going to add that they had a son whom she was pregnant with before they left the tardis.
Disclaimer: I own nothing.
After clearing the table and cleaning the dishes The Doctor, Amy, and Rory sat by the fire in the living room. Amy was sitting on Rory's lap on the couch nuzzling her head into his neck. One of his hands was around her back the other resting on her stomach. The doctor sat in an armchair across from them with Vincent sleeping against him.
"I think he likes me," The Doctor said excitedly.
"Course he likes you," Amy said, "You're his brother-in-law and god father."
"God father? Really?" She nodded
"I didn't realize you two had so few friends, I'm terribly sorry." Rory chuckled and held his wife tighter.
"And thank you, for always setting me a plate, I don't think anyone's ever done that before," he said smiling.
"Always," Rory said.
"You're welcome to stay the night," Amy told him for the fifth time that night.
"I should get going," the Doctor said.
"Where?" Rory asked. "You have all the time in the world, what's one night?"
"I suppose it would be alright," he said hesitantly.
"Great," Amy said. "But you'll have to take the couch seeing as how the guestroom is now Vincent's room.
"Rory do you realize you've names your son after a man who was in love with your wife?" the Doctor asked.
"What?" Rory asked looking to Amy who gave him a nervous smile.
"I should put this one to bed," she said standing and picking up Vincent. After she went up stairs Rory spoke seriously to The Doctor.
"You know, if you leave without saying goodbye to him he'll probably be scarred for the rest of his life."
"I know," The Doctor said.
"I'm really happy to see you," Rory said smiling at his friend.
"So am I…dad," The Doctor said then shook his head.
"No," Rory said.
"Just testing it out," The Doctor said.
"I'll see you in the morning," Rory said standing and patting him on the back before going up stairs.
"So you think he'll stay?" Amy asked once Rory climbed into bed.
"I think he will," he said stroking her hair as she lay against his chest.
"Me too," she said.
