The challenge word this week is Strut and Sam's carelessness has left his brother bleeding in the sand.
It was a ridiculously simple case.

But it's simplicity had made Sam sloppy.
His normally meticulous research had fallen short of identifying there was another victim of the crash and so it was that Dean had been left with no escape when that second spirit attacked without warning.
So now he lay amidst the twisted metal, curled breathlessly in on himself, the rusted wing-strut piercing through his thigh as Sam tried desperately to stem the ominous crimson flow.
