Challenge: Mirror

Dean held his coffee cup aloft, gesturing to the waitress for a refill. After she left, he continued his review of the local newspaper for possible leads.

Sensing a presence in his peripheral vision, Dean glanced over to see a boy, maybe five years old, staring at him from the other side of the diner window. Dean stared, the kid stared. Dean made a face, the kid made the same face. Whatever Dean did, the kid copied.

In the middle of an impressively ridiculous expression, Dean heard Sam's voice behind him. "Having fun, Dean?"

Dean's grin was mirrored outside. "Yep."
