Hey here's a new story for you guys I really hope you enjoy and like it but if you don't then don't read it.

Anyway as you all know, nobody owns Fairy Tail except for the one and only Hiro Mashima. Seriously though I hope you guys like it and to say that I will never be good enough like my favorite authors (Lovex1, Meellaa, and amehanaa) even though the first two wrote like 1 or 2 stories it was still the best and I Love it.

You guys can check them out if you want, I promise you that you'll love their stories, you know if it's to your taste and liking.

But let's get on with the story ;-}.

Lucy Heartfilia, starting a new school at a new academy.

She walked down the halls with a fresh new look, considering that she had to wear her uniform; She wore a blue blazer with a white blouse and it contained a white black and red plaid tie her skirt was the same as the tie and she had on light black stockings and black sneakers, her hair is tied up into a high ponytail and two strand pieces of hair on the side of her face.

As she was walking down the halls she was also looking for her classroom, the schedule in her hands and her eyes scanning the paper. She was looking for room 318B.

Room 318B.

318B, No.

318B, No.

318B, No.

'Ugh where the hell is 318B.' She thought in frustration.

She walked past half of the classrooms already looking for the right room but none of them said 318B, she was getting frustrated by the minute. As she walked down the hall she didn't see a boy looking at his phone, not looking up either.

She crashed into him and fell, along with his phone but he was still standing.

Lucy yelped when she fell, then moaned and rubbed her ass, she was about ready to yell at the person but when she looked up her breath hitched in her throat. It was a boy and he was cute, he wore a blue blazer, it was open with the red white and black plaid tie hanging and he had black slacks on with black sneakers but that wasn't the thing that caught her eye, it was his pink hair but surprisingly it fit well with him. His eyes were a black onyx color and he had tan skin, which also fit well with him.

Her eyes landed on his and her face flushed from embarrassment. "I'm sorry... I... Didn't see you there."

He gave her a small smile and said. "No I'm sorry it was my fault I bumped into you," He lifted an arm and scratched the back of his head and blushed with embarrassment. "I was actually looking at my phone so I didn't see you there."

This time she gave him a small smile. "Okay I forgive you."

Then his smile widened and turned into a grin." I'm glad you accept my apology... Now what were you doing that made you bump into me as well?"

She laughed nervously. "I was actually looking for my class... Which I can't find."

"Oh that's it?"

She nodded. "Yeah I'm new here so I don't know where all of the places are yet."

He hummed in amusement. "Alright I'll help you out." He held out his hand for her to hand him the paper.

Lucy's eyes widened. "Really?"

"Yeah really."

Her smile widened into a full-fledged one as she handed him the paper. Natsu couldn't help but notice that she's really pretty when she smiles. When she handed him the paper he scanned over it and he mentally shouted with joy, most of her classes are with him.

He looked back up at her. "You're in luck, you have the first class with me."

Her smile didn't falter but grew more. "That's great now I know someone."

He rose a brow at her. "Well you don't really know me."

She then lifted her hand up to his face and wiggled her index finger around and said. "Yet."

He laughed a bit. "Okay, c'mon lets go."

She nodded and they both started walking together. Her first day here and she was about to make a new friend but one thing she doesn't get is why is she smiling so much and then she remembered something.

She turned her head to look at him. "Hey what's your name?"

His head turned and his eyes stared right into hers and said. "Natsu, yours?"

"Lucy."

They walked in silence but it was a comfortable silence, one where Lucy can get used to. The class wasn't long from where they stood but that only could've meant that she had past the class right? Wrong they took a left turn which Lucy did not see because she was too busy being stubborn that she didn't look up from her schedule long enough to see that there were turns in the halls.

She sighed in relief once they stopped 'Good now I don't have to be late for my first day in school' She thought in delight and very grateful for Natsu for showing her the way.

"Were here... Do you want to go in first or should I?" He asked her.

She tapped her chin in thought and then finally decided on an answer "You go, the new students always arrive last."

He chuckled and nodded, then walked in first.

Lucy suddenly became nervous when Natsu left her side, it was rare to see her in that state because... Well she rarely gets nervous but when Natsu left something inside of her just popped.

'Okay Lucy you can do this c'mon just go in like you usually do when you transferred schools last year' she took a big deep breath, slid open the door and walked in. As soon as she walked in she looked around and saw every student in there talking amongst themselves but one student caught her eye, It was Natsu and he was talking to some raven haired boy that sat in front of him but then her eyes moved to an empty seat next to him and she decided that she'll sit there.

The first one to greet her was the teacher.

"Well hello there, you're new right?" The teacher said.

Lucy nodded.

"Okay and what is your name?"

"Lucy, Lucy Heartfilia."

"Alright wait just a moment." He said as he looked for her name in the attendance, while he did that she looked around the classroom again but mostly looking for Natsu, when she saw him again it made something bubble inside her chest and that smile she had on her face for a long time turned into a frown. She was seeing a white haired girl clinging onto his arm but he was simply ignoring her and kept talking to his friend like she wasn't there.

"Ah there we go Lucy Heartfilia in the system," He wrote something down on a pad and turned to face her. "I am Mr. Fong and I would like you to introduce yourself to the class."

She nodded again and Mr. Fong stood up and cleared his throat, the whole class's attention is on him now. "Alright class we have a new student," When he finished he whispered to Lucy and said. "Go ahead."

Lucy stood there and smiled. "Hi my name is Lucy Heartfilia and I hope we can all get along."

She started hearing students whispering to each other but she paid no mind to, she then looked at Mr. Fong as a signal that she was finished, he nodded. "Okay Lucy you may take a seat wherever you'd like."

"Thank you." She bowed then walked to the seat that was next to Natsu.

"Hey." She smiled at him.

He smiled back. "Hey Lucy," He leaned forward and whispered. "You looked pretty nervous up there."

She giggled. "I was," then shrugged. "But it was no big deal."

He grinned. "So... Lucy Heartfilia huh? Why is it that a Heartfilia is at this crappy school of ours?" Really he couldn't have been more surprised when he found out her last name, she was from the Heartfilia estate and he wondered why she came here, she is rich so why come here? She could probably afford the fanciest school in the world but a girl like Lucy Heartfilia came here... To Fairy Tail.

Lucy rose a brow at his question almost seeming offended by it but left it alone. "Hmm a Heartfilia isn't allowed to come here."

He shook his head. "Not what I meant and I didn't mean to upset you-"

"You didn't."

"-But it's just that you have a lot of money and you could've probably went to fancier places than this-"Natsu stopped talking as he was interrupted by hand in his face.

"Let me stop you right there, I don't care about any of that, to everyone I'm probably Lucy Heartfilia from the Heartfilia estate but to me I'm just... Me." Her smile brightened as she continued. "I don't care about fancy places, a lot of money and nice things, I just wanna live life."

He nodded in understanding 'Wow' He thought in amazement.

"Say-"

Her voice snapped him out of his thoughts and he looked up.

"You know my last name, so what's yours?"

Natsu was about to speak but a loud bell ringing interrupted him. "Wow we've been talking for the entire period," He said, not once did he hear what the teacher had said, for that whole period it felt like they were the only two in the classroom and forgot about everyone else.

"Do you need any help-"again he couldn't finish his sentence because of something interrupting him and he felt someone latching onto his arm and a loud squeal saying. "Natsu!" He turned and saw Lisanna.

Lucy got startled by the loud squeal, she got disappointed when he couldn't finish his sentence 'Yes I do need help' She needed help finding her locker and how the hell was she supposed to do that if she couldn't even find her own classroom. Lucy inwardly sighed and left to go look for it on her own.

"Oh sorry." Lucy said as she bumped into someone, still trying to look for her locker. She apologized again as she bumped into another person, 'Clearly people can see that I need help' She needed to get to her locker to put her stuff in it and no one would help her.

She bumped into another person. "Oh I'm sorry," She heard the said person chuckle and looked up, her eyes widened. "Natsu."

"You need any help?" He asked.

"Yes oh my god thank you." Lucy sighed in relief.

He gestured his hand like he did before so that she could hand him the paper and she did, he started walking and she started following.

"Alright here it is." Natsu showed her the locker.

"Thanks again." She said and looked at her combination so she could put it in and finally open her locker.

"No problem... So uh... Why did you leave?" He asked suddenly.

Curious as to what he meant Lucy looked over to him and rose a brow in question.

"The classroom, you left."

Now she gets it. "Oh well you were talking to someone and I thought I'd give you some privacy so I just left."

"You could have waited you know." He muttered under his breath so that she wouldn't be able to hear.

"Oh that's right, you never told me your last name."

"Oh yeah... It's Dragneel, Natsu Dragneel." He said with a grin.

Lucy started giggling and put a hand up to her mouth. Natsu saw and asked. "What's so funny?"

She waved a hand in his face. "Nothing it's just that your last name... it sounds like dragon."

Natsu head cocked to the side and lifted a brow. "Yeah so?"

"I like it, it actually suits you and I never heard of a cool last name like yours." She smiled.

Natsu had a tint of pink blush on his cheeks and scratched his face nervously. 'Wow this girl is way more different than any rich person I have ever met' If you saw Natsu grin before then you didn't see how it looks now, his Grin was wide and huge to the point where it showed his teeth, his sharp white canine teeth.

Lucy gasped and pointed at him.

Natsu, confused asked. "What?"

"You really are just like a dragon, aren't you?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Well your last name is Dragneel and your teeth are very pointy and sharp, that's so cool."

He seemed shock by this because his eyes widened and his mouth gaped open. "You really are a weirdo."

Lucy's brows furrowed, she crossed her arms and pouted. "I am not."

Natsu face puckered as if he was trying to hold in something and he was but that soon came to an end when he let out his laughter, it echoed through the halls. Lucy thought his laugh was contagious because soon she started to laugh as well.

That also came to an end because Natsu heard someone call his name, his ears perked up and he turned around to see who was calling him, he came face to face with a short blue haired girl. It was Levy.

He blinked and smiled. "Hey Levy what's up?"

As soon as Levy walked into the hallway all she heard was laughter and one of the voices she recognized, she looked at the culprits and her eyes widened 'Natsu, Laughing, that's a rare sight to see' Levy hid the shock and surprise that filled her. "Nothing much but uh the club wants to meet at lunch time."

He nodded and glanced behind him.

Levy looked over his shoulder and her eyes widened again 'Natsu with a girl and he was laughing with an actual smile on his face' her inner fangirl came out and she squealed on the inside 'Oh my god could this be what they call love at first sight.'

Levy walked around him and walked up to Lucy, she took out her hand as a gesture for Lucy to shake. "Hi my name is Levy Mcgarden, it's nice to meet you."

Lucy smiled and shook her hand. "I'm Lucy Heartfilia and it's nice to meet you too."

"So... Lucy do you want to go to the club with us after lunch time?" Levy said and gestured to her and Natsu.

Lucy nodded. "Sure I would love to." She said happily, so far she was liking this school and this day.

Lucy went outside and waited for the pink headed boy and the blue haired girl. It wasn't much to do while she waited for the both of them, she looked at her surroundings making sure that nobody was there. She sighed and put a smile on her face, her mother used to say this quote to her all the time but she likes to sing it too.

Lucy started humming and looked up at the sky.

"Never lose sight of who you are,

Always remember the

Reason why you're

Smiling today,

Count your blessings

For been giving the

Gift to smile."

It wasn't that long of a quote but she still liked it, she smiled to herself, her mother always told her that it was best to smile.

Lucy got startled by a voice coming in front of her, she looked back down and her eyes widened. "Natsu." She said softly.

He gave her a stunning grin. "Sorry you had to wait... But that was a beautiful song you sang."

Lucy looked down on the floor and said. "Thank you." She looked back up and met his eyes, both staring at each other in a comfortable silence, Lucy noticed something and walked towards him, his eyes still staring into hers. She stopped in front of Natsu and raised her arms, her hands reaching for his white scaly scarf that's wrapped around his neck.

Natsu did not move from his spot and saw her gentle and dainty hands reaching out. She touched his scarf and fixed it around him then she whispered. "See just like a dragon." His eyes became soft as he was still gazing into hers, her hands stayed on his scarf.

Levy walked around the corner and saw Lucy and Natsu smiling again, she squealed on the inside then she saw Lucy walking up to him while there eyes were locked on each other. Levy's eyes widened and gasped when she saw Lucy's hands reach out and started to fix his scarf 'Natsu never lets anybody touch his scarf, that thing is way too precious to him.' Levy started jumping up and down quietly and squealed in her mind, her inner fangirl coming back again. 'Oh my god! I can't wait to tell everyone.' She took a deep breath and calmed herself down before she walked over to the two.

"Hey Natsu, Lucy." Levy waved.

The two separated, they weren't flushed or embarrassed, they stayed lingering on each other for as long as they could and then finally looked at the blue haired girl who waved to them.

Natsu waved back.

Lucy waved back as well and said. "Hey Levy."

Levy stopped in front of them and turned to look at Lucy, she smiled trying to play it cool and put aside of what she saw only moments ago. "Hey Lucy can I call you Lu-chan?"

Lucy seemed surprised by the sudden change of the name but none the less gave her a smile and said. "Sure."

"Alright! You two ready to go?" Levy fist pumped the air, excited to show her friends to Lucy but mostly to talk about the situation that happened just now. 'Honestly that never happened before, Natsu is way over protective about his scarf and never and I mean never has he ever let anyone touch his scarf, not even Lisanna.' Levy thought still in disbelief of what happened only a moment ago but also very happy about it and Lisanna is an old ex-girlfriend of his but they broke up years ago because of her and now for some reason wants him back, she also acts like nothing happened between them but Natsu just treats her like a friend.

They nodded and followed Levy into the club.

Finally finished with chapter one, I know it's not good right now but it'll probably get better along the way. I hope you guys find this new story interesting.

I'll probably make point of views in later chapters but this is basically my first story so I'm just gonna do what I think is best, sometimes you just have to go with your instincts ;-}.
