Hi again my dear readers!
You're probably wondering why I uploaded another story when I have four others open and in need of updates. I have two reasons for this. One, I just felt like it. Two, I lost all my notes and what I wrote for OCW, its omake, and for Oceans Apart. Thus I felt really disheartened and trying to get the muse to help me remember what I wrote on my last laptop. *sigh*
I'm trying my best to write out the chapters for all of those plus my Harry Potter story so please give me more of your everlasting patience. Anyways enough of that and onto the story.
Disclaimer: I don't own KHR unfortunately T.T
Please review and let me know what you think

Tsunayoshi Sawada, otherwise known as the Vongola Decimo, lay in his bed surrounded by his children and grand children and some of the most trusted from the Family. He had outlived all of his Guardians, his wife, and even his old tutor Reborn. It seems that when the Arcobaleno were cursed with bodies that didn't age, their biological clocks just froze and was the reason why they always had baby bodies. When they began ageing again, they had already lived quite a while. For Reborn, he was around 35 years old when he was cursed, so he lived for another 40 years before it was his time to leave. When he passed, Tsunayoshi gave him a small funeral so that no one knew; some people still believed that he was still alive and just took the odd job here and there.
That was 30 years ago. In that time, Tsunayoshi had stepped down from being the Boss of the Vongola and his daughter took up the mantle to become the next Vongola. He had bought a small home in rural Namimori, which had become a bustling city since all of it had began, and settled down to live out the rest of his life. Of course there were a couple of attempts to end his life early, but despite his age, he easily took out them out. He didn't become the Decimo for nothing. So now, as he lay in bed, he reflected on all the things that had happened in his life. He smiled at all the good things that happened, looked at what he could have done to improve all of the bad and came to the conclusion that he was satisfied with the life that he lived. Sure he had some things that he regretted, but as he closed his eyes, nothing at all mattered anymore as he welcomed the embracing darkness. It was then that the most famous Boss of the Vongola, Vongola Decimo Tsunayoshi Sawada, took his last breath.
Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiito
It was when joyous music started playing in the darkness that one Sawada Tsunayoshi got irritated. All he had wanted was to have a peaceful death and the silent darkness that surrounded him was heaven sent. Sure he thought that he was supposed to go to hell for all the bad things that he had had to do in his life, but he wasn't going to complain when it was just silent darkness, even though it was a little lonely.
He couldn't take it anymore when the music continued to get louder and louder, so he decided to get up and do something about it. When he got up, two things surprised him; one was the fact that it didn't hurt when he got up. Somewhere along the line, his training with Reborn and some of the injuries that he had sustained had caught up to him in his old age and decided that they wanted to make his life miserable. The absence of the usual pain in his joints and in his battle scars was a boon and he relished the feeling for a moment.
It was when he saw the second thing that surprised him that he had become speechless. If he was younger, his jaw would have hung open in his shock. But he had grown out of that with Reborn's tor- training, with his training and what he looked at in the darkness made him give it his flattest stare.

Tsuna continued to give the floating text in front of him his silent stare, desperately trying to will it to all be a dream, some sort of sick twisted dream created by Mukuro. But stare at it all that he wanted, nothing ever changed about it, not even the music that was starting to get on his nerves. So deciding to just go along with things right now because his intuition wasn't saying anything about it, he used his finger to click (YES).
Suddenly the world around Tsuna vortexed into color and formed what looked like a sky view of Namimori, at least what it looked when he was a child. Even the music changed from that gaudy congrats music to an upbeat instrumental that was soothing to his ears. All in all, he was glad that he chose to click yes.
Looking around he chose to ignore the text in front of him and instead chose to scope out all of the things that he remembered from childhood Namimori. He saw the shrine that everyone used to visit, which also doubled as one of the entrances to Kyouya's Foundation. He saw Nami-chuu, the hospital, the library, and then he saw his childhood home.
There sitting in the middle of the residential area, sat the quaint two-story house that he lived in until he became the Decimo. Of course he returned to visit his mother often, but once Iemitsu had told his mother everything, she had decided to leave the house and came to Italy to live with everyone. In her words, "Why should I stay here when I can be with all of my kids to share in the thrill of Tsu-kun's exciting life?!" She had taken everything in stride like she always did, taking care of us if we were sick or injured, helping out in the kitchen with the meals, giving moral support when we were at our lowest and handing out complements and encouragements when we were doing our best. All in all, she was the best mom ever. She had even earned the title Mama Vongola among the other Families and they all learned not to mess with her after that a situation that contained a knife, some ropes, a hot stove, an assassin and a very irate Nana. When her funeral came around, many Families came to give their respects, even those that were against the Vongola. All in all she was happy till the end.
Tsuna continued down memory lane and at one point he sat down after standing for what felt like an hour. Throughout his reminiscing though, he eyes continued to stray to the menu that floated above him, and after the fifth time, he decided that he should give it his attention. Turning to actually look at it he saw:

Tsuna decided to press Options and that brought up another menu.

Tutorial [Disabled]

Something in Tsuna snapped once he saw the words in this menu and he gave a little growl. He knew that all of this was real from the congratulations screen because his intuition told him so. Over the years he would sometimes go into denial on some of the things that his intuition pointed out to him and wouldn't give in, until that stubbornness of his to not believe anything the intuition said, wrought a negative consequence. It was a bad habit and Tsuna had thought that he had got rid of it early on but it seems that it came back with this 'death.' Trying to reign in his temper at the thought of how so many things could have gone better with just a map available all the time, he clicked every single [Disabled] in the list:

Then he tapped on Back and it brought up the main menu again.

"Tch, no 'go to afterlife' option," Tsuna thought. Releasing a small sigh, he just wanted to get this part over already and pressed New Game. Everything went black again and in front of him, new text floated.
Do you want to start a New Game + (?) ?
(YES) or (NO)
Tsuna pushed on the question mark next to New Game + to get more info on what this particular option entailed.
New Game + allows any mastered skills to roll over from a finished game and unlocks trophies that can be collect throughout the Vongola Decimo world that will increase certain stats. All skill trees and perks are unlocked to mix and match to make your perfect character and the difficulty level can be chosen unlike a regular New Game. However items, including Key Items and Special Event Items, will have to be acquired all over again.
Would you like to start a New Game + ?
(YES) or (NO)
If he did master anything in his last life, then Tsuna would be very grateful, but if he didn't, well, he had nothing to lose at all. It was a win-win situation…well except losing all his items, but he had no clue what he had anyways. He would definitely miss his gloves, contacts, and headphones though. They had become somewhat of an icon for him and it did become a trend at one point, until technology advanced.
He moved his hand and tapped on YES to move along. Again the screen turned black and new text appeared:
Choose a difficulty setting:
*Once you choose a difficulty, you cannot change it until the next new game*
Easy
Normal
Hard
Apocalypse
Tsuna knew for sure that he was never going to pick Apocalypse Mode again. Even though he had a good life, there just some points in it that he wanted to strangle someone because of all of the things that happened to him. He also decided against Hard Mode because he wanted to be able to breathe in this New Game. That just left him Normal Mode and Easy Mode. Tsuna was tempted to just go with the Easy Mode, but if there was one thing that he learned throughout his first life, it was that nothing was Easy and if it was, that meant that there was a hidden consequence in it. So he chose Normal and waited as the screen went black once more.
