A/N: To all my readers of my Harry Potter story, I've decided it needs to go on temporary Hiatus.
Bring Me To Life
Susan was sitting on her bed. She had just gotten word her siblings had been killed in a train wreck. Sheremembered a song her friend had sung to her once before. The song was Bring Me to Life.
How can you see into my eyes like open doors
Leading you down into my core
Where I've become so numb without a soul
Tears ran down her cheeks. "I was so cruel to him before he left, and now Peter is gone. Now I can't even say I'm sorry." She whispered.
My spirit sleeping somewhere cold
Until you find it there and lead it back home
"I can't believe I said I didn't believe in Narnia. I do Aslan, I truly do." She furiously wiped away her tears.
Wake me up
Wake me up inside
I can't wake up
Wake me up inside
Save me
Call my name and save me from the dark
Wake me up
Bid my blood to run
I can't wake up
before I come undone
Save me
Save me from the nothing I've become
She brokenly whispered, "I only said I didn't believe because it was too painful. I couldn't take the knowledge of believing and not being able to come back, so I convinced myself to not believe."
now that I know what I'm without
you can't just leave me
breathe into me and make me real
bring me to life
All this time I can't believe I couldn't see
Kept in the dark but you were there in front of me
I've been sleeping a thousand years it seems
Got to open my eyes to everything
Without a thought without a voice without a soul
Don't let me die here
There must be something more
Bring me to life
"Bring me home Aslan, please. Bring me home." She said, not knowing if she was heard. Then she knew she was, for there was the roar of the lion and a flash of white light, and she was home, home in Narnia, where she belonged.
Bring me to life..
She bowed before the great lion, Aslan. "Thank you, thank you." She said.
The great lion nuzzled her gently. "Welcome home, Queen Susan the Gentle."
Bring me to life...
AN: A story of Susan redeeming herself and going home. There will be no sequel, this is just a one shot of what I think happens to Susan after The Last Battle.
Yes, as a response to the first reviewer, I picked this song because it does relate to Susan. Uh, you expect me to use songs from the 1940's?
