A/N: First thing is first this is not meant to be out of character but just a different side of Nate. I hope I did okay with the other side of him and didn't make it too out of character #_# I also don't own Leverage :(

Fluffy

Sophie walked into Nates apartment, holding Mister Fluffy on her arms. Mister Fluffy is to Sophie as Bunny is to Parker; in simplest terms. She came to see Nate after having a long day of shopping. Sometimes it was nice to just cuddle with him. Of course, he would never use that 'foul' word.

He wasn't anywhere in the main area so she slipped her heels off and quietly walked up the stairs. The door to his room was open and she walked in. He was laying in bed with a fluffy blanket over him (she noted that he looked quite comfortable...almost enjoying it) Nate was reading a book with his back turned to Sophie.

"Enjoying yourself Nate?" Sophie said, trying to keep the laughter out of her voice.

Nate literally jumped off the bed, the book flying up and hitting the ceiling before falling down again to hit him in the head. "Ow! Dammit Sophie you could've given me a heart attack"

Sophie was biting her bottom lip as she stared at him standing in his boxers. She had a problem with staring at him a lot. It was his fault (although fault may not be the right word) that he had abs and muscles and...she was quickly loosing her train of thought.

"What's that?" Nate suddenly asked

Sophie didn't respond for a few seconds before snapping to attention. "What's what?"

"That stuffed bear" Nate replied as he picked up the blanket and draped it over his shoulders, pulling around him.

"Oh, it's Mister Fluffy!" Sophie smiled and kissed the top of the bears head.

Nate smiled at the cute nickname and then crawled back in bed.

"No hello kiss?"

Nate sighed but didn't make any effort to move. Sophie rolled her eyes and stripped down to her underwear. With Mister Fluffy still in her arms, she walked over to her side of the bed and got in next to Nate. He pulled the blanket up to cover his mouth but Sophie could tell by the way the corners of his eyes twitched that he was grinning.

She tugged at the fluffy blanket but he held it firm. "Mine!"

"Wow, you're quite defensive about your fluffy blanket aren't you?"

"I like it" Nate mumbled

Sophie giggled and started pretending to be Mister Fluffy. "Awww, is someone soft and sensitive-"

"Stop it!" Nate whined, cutting her off

Sophie forced his hands away from his face and gently kissed his lips. "Don't keep those inviting lips of yours covered"

Nate pulled the blanket higher up his face so you could only see his eyes and up, his feet poking out the bottom. "No. It's soft and comfortable!"

"You're acting like a child" Sophie said in an almost reprimanding tone

He curled up into a little ball and looked at her. "But I like this blanket"

"That's no need to act like a child though" Sophie laughed slightly

"Yes it is"

"Why?"

"Because fluffy blankets against bare skin feels good" Nate answered simply

"Well I can't argue with that"

"I'm sure that it you don't have me or Mister Fluffy you wouldn't sleep well at all"

"I would get no sleep without either one of you. I'd go insane if both of you just vanished into thin air"

Nate pulled the blanket away from his face and nuzzled his head into her neck. He kissed her collarbone and sighed contently.

"This is nice" Sophie murmured

"Yeah, it is nice...and fluffy" Nate joked around

Sophie rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile. "You're such a dork"

Nate couldn't help but smile. He let her share his fluffy blanket and pressed his body a little closer to her "But I'm your dork"
