Once upon a time there was a sixteen year old girl who discovered a wonderful website called "fanfiction.net". At first she only browsed the Anime section, reading and writing fanfiction for that category, until she discovered the wonderful world of Book fanfiction.
Now this particular girl happened on to a section entitled "The Bible". Finding it strange that people would write fiction about a book like that, she clicked on the link to satiate her curiosity. Upon reading many of the "stories" in the section, she discovered that they were not in fact fanfiction, but instead rants, or opinions.
"That's funny," she thought, "This is fanfiction.net, isn't it? Don't the rules forbid posts like this?" Shrugging it off, she continued her browse of the highly controversial section.
After reading many attacks upon Christianity, the girl formed another thought, "Why are people yelling about Christianity in this section? This is about The Bible, right? Shouldn't, if anything, they be talking about The Bible? What do the acts of 'Christians' have to do with The Bible?"
Reading on, and on, and on, the girl got increasingly agitated, "This is FANFICTION.net people! Not rant-and-rave.net! What's your problem?! Can you not understand this concept!?!?"
Instead of reading the actual essays, she began simply reading the reviews which had turned into more message-board-like contraptions than review boards. She noticed that people were complaining about non-Christians posting in this section, "If they're read the Bible," she thought, "Don't they have a right to post FANFICTION about it?"
Finally she got so irritated that she was about to post a rant of her own, stating her thoughts, when she realized how contradictory it would be.
So she made up a story, about a sixteen year old girl who had her exact same thoughts, hoping to get a point across.
To make it credible so it could legally be posted in "The Bible" section, she decided to include a small fanfic at the bottom of her story.

God sat up in heaven and looked down upon his creations.
"I should give them a book" he decided. "But it needs a title. I know! I'll call it MY BOOK, and sign it LOVE GOD."
His right hand angel, however, thought that it would be too presumptuous to say that, and the creations would write many angry letters and heaven would be overcrowded with complaints, and should name it something more obscure, and not put his name down.
God thought this was very wise and decided only to call it "the Bible" and instead of writing it himself, sent the words upon some of his creations so as to avoid the heaven-complaint crisis.
THE END
