And another fanfic for the 100 prompt challenge! This opne was slight Cesare/Leonardo, all just because of a fanfic I read that left me with this pairing in my mind. I hope you enjoy it. I think I read somewhere that Cesare and Leonardo became 'close friends' while the artist was working on Rome (If it isn't true forgive me then), so I decided to use that too. This one is based on the word "Weeks".

Disclaimer: I don't own Assassins Creed.

-.-.-.-

I had spent weeks already with Cesare Borgia, the sworn enemy of my dear friend Ezio Auditore. I had been forced to join him, out of problems of my own and the very convincing 'insistence' of the son of the pope. It had started out very badly for me, I wasn't accustomed to being this close to a templar, they had tried killing me several times after all. I was surprised that the man had asked for my services and all, due to my obvious strong connection with the assassins. However, I soon found that contrary to all that I had heard, Cesare was quite a charming person, just like Machiavelli had told me once when I saw him at Rome. A charming and ambitious person, and I soon was too admiring him for his strength, just like the assassin Machiavelli did. I could only wonder if it was bad, and what Ezio would think of he knew what I felt. "He would be disgusted, no doubt about that" I muttered. I heard several knocks on the door. "Come in" I said. "Dear friend" I heard Cesare say. "Yes, I guess we could be considered even as friends now" I thought to myself. He sat on a stool near where I was currently working, on a design for a new weapon. During the time I had been here I had produced a lot of designs for all kinds of machines, drawings and a lot more. I had managed to do a lot here. "What will it do?" He asked me. "You will see when it's finished" I said, with a mischievous grin. He smiled, and continued to watch me work silently, interest evident on his eyes. It was some hours later, when I had finally finished, that he revealed why he had visited. He took out a bottle of wine. "My brother will be holding a party tonight, and everyone will be gone" He explained. I looked at the wine bottle and then at him, containing a smile. "How does drinking wine sound?" He then offered. "It will be a pleasure" I said. He smiled, and we soon left the room, to the same place we went week after week. It had been surprising at first, but it was also surprisingly welcome too.
