He did not know why he had sought the silver-haired male out as he had. He really did not. Something about the inu hanyou had sparked his interest, an interesting little flicker of life calling out to him. He had to see his "rival" again. He just knew that he did.

Of course, he would never let the other male know this. He could not let anyone know it was the half-demon he desired. Fear kept him silent even as his desire brought him back. Each time, he made excuses for his presence, and he baited the volatile male into pointless and unnecessary arguments. It pained him to see the beautiful male hit the ground every time, but there was not anything for it. As long as his fear ruled him, the true object of his affections would suffer.

'No . . . there is something for it this time,' he thought as he ran off like hell's fury.
