Prologue
"Go ahead and kill me... I've outlived my purpose." Obito Uchiha groaned, staring at the sky.
"For your crimes against shinobi and samurai, I, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, sentence you to death!" Naruto yelled, tears sliding down his whiskered cheek as he started to spin wind chakra in his palm. Once it was big enough, he slammed it into the chest of Obito. The jutsu sliced the Uchiha into pieces and scattered his bodies across the continent.
"I'm the only one left Kurama, I barely have enough chakra left. There is no more reason for me to live... I'm sorry you have to tag along with me to my grave." Naruto sighed, falling onto the ground with a thump. "If only I can go back in time to fix this..."
"Well... The Rikudo Sannin made it possible to travel back into time as a failsafe plan in case the Child of Prophecy, in other words his true Reincarnation failed to restore peace to the world." The Kyubi said.
"What are you trying to say? I have to find this person and send him or her into the past and prevent this?" Naruto asked.
"No, what I'm saying is that you can go back in time_" Kurama started before he was rudely interrupted by his host.
"Then let's do it!" Naruto yelled, immediately sitting up.
"But it is too risky, there are high possibilities of mutating your genes, for all I know, you could end up without an arm, or blind!" Kurama yelled.
"I will do this, there is a small speck of hope and I am willing to take it if it means saving everyone!" Naruto yelled, his eyes radiating a strong ray of will power.
'Naruto... I never thought you would manage to change me, I can't risk it, but I can give up my existence to enlarge that small speck of hope.' Kyubi thought.
"Very well, try and remember the memory of the time you want to jump to, it will serve as an anchor to time travel." Kyubi instructed.
Naruto thought hard, the memories he had were vague, but there was one day which he remembered as clear as it happened: the graduation day.
"Keep it in your mind, now I'm going to take control." Kyubi announced. The tailed beast wasted no time once he took over. He started to draw the seals in blood on an empty scroll.
After half an hour, the seal was done." Naruto channel chakra into the seal while keeping your memory in mind!" Kyubi instructed. Naruto mentally nodded and started to do as ordered. The seal started to glow blue.
"I'm almost out of Chakra!" Naruto said, his voice barely audible. Immediately, a red beam of chakra started shooting into the seal, making it glow red. After a while, Naruto could see a claw poking out of his Eight Trigrams seal, then a leg, soon Kyubi's head was out.
"Naruto, it has been an honor fighting with you, but this is the end for me... Tell the past me what happened." The nine tailed fox growled until its whole body got sucked into the seal, luckily for Naruto, Kyubi had provided enough chakra. The seal started to glow white until a large circle opened, it showed Naruto waking up on the morning of the graduation. The blond teen's eyes lit up and jumped into the hole.
