A/N: This is what happens when your dad plays country on the way to school and it gets stuck in your head for the rest of the day and your born and raised in Tennessee. Obviously Fiyeraba. Have I written any other pairing other than Gloq and Fiyeraba? Take as you will. Song by Chris Young.
Fiyero stood at the front door of the Thropp Mansion with pansies he had bought for Elphaba in his hand. He took out his handkerchief and began to pat his forehead. He was so nervous. He had no idea why he was but the ring in his back pocket suddenly felt very heavy. Elphaba came out in a beautiful black dress that matched his black tie. He gave her the pansies and took her arm.
Tuxedo waiters, Black Tie,
White Table Cloths and Red Wine
We've been plannin' this night.
Lookin' forward to it, For some time.
Now, honey I know you love gettin' dressed up
And you know I love showin' you off
But watchin' your baby blue eyes
Dancin' in the candle light glow
All I can think about is gettin you home
When their wedding was through he heard Elphaba call him into the honeymoon suite. The minute he walked in the door he saw her black wedding dress hit the floor. He could still remember when he worried about her father. This made up for it.
Walkin' through the front door
Seein' your black dress hit the floor
Honey there sure ain't nothing like you
Lovin' me all night long
And all I can think about is gettin' you home
They went to their favorite restaurant. The last time they had been here Fiyero was shaking like a leaf in the wind. Now he was totally calm. Elphaba still had the dress that she had worn to the engagement dinner and it fit her like a glove. He signaled to the waiter not to give him a menu, he already knew what she wanted. She told him she just wanted to go home after dinner. She had a sensual look in her eye. He knew tonight was going to be a good night.
I don't need this menu, No I don't
I already know just what I want
Did I here you right
Did You tell me
Go pay the waiter and let's leave
Now Honey I know by that look in your eyes
And your hand drawin' hearts onto mine
Our night outta the ain't gonna last to long
When all you can think about is gettin' me home
Fiyero watched as Elphaba reached behind her and pulled the zipper down on her dress.
Walkin' through the front door
Seein' your black dress hit the floor
Honey there sure ain't nothing like you
Lovin' me all night long
And all I can think about is gettin' you homeWalkin' through the front door
Seein' your black dress hit the floor
Honey there sure ain't nothing like you
Lovin' me all night long
He could still remember the times when he worried about her father…
And all I can think about
All I can think about
All I can think about
Is gettin you home
Love it? Hate it? Review? Pi?
