Hey, do you want to know something? It's currently one in the morning and I've been awake since 6am so naturally, I decided to write this instead of going to sleep. Oops.

I imagine this has probably been done a hundred times before but I couldn't get this whole scenario out of my head so I wrote it and now I guess I'm posting it. It's been a long while since I've written anything for FanFiction, so bear with me.

Disclaimer: I obviously don't own NCIS because if I did, Tiva would have been canon eight years ago.

"Victim's name is Justine Calmers, Boss." Tony explained, pressing the remote and pointing to the face that just occupied the plasma screen in the squad room. "35, no husband, mother died four years ago and her father currently lives in Philadelphia."

"I searched her bank accounts and phone records. No signs of any unusual activity." McGee stated, "However, I went through her e-mails, and there are several messages that she sent and received that were all in Hebrew. I'm working on getting those translated now."

"Gibbs, Gibbs, Gibbs!" Came Abby's excited voice. She ran up to the three agents and stopped in front of them. "I went through the victims cell phone and there were four voicemails that had been left in the past three days - all of them are in Hebrew." She said quickly.

Gibbs grunted softly, "why Hebrew?" He muttered to himself.

"You know who we could really use right now?" Tony mused, "Ziva." He smiled sadly at the floor as the ding of the elevator rang out across the now quiet squad room.

On impulse, McGee and Abby turned around to see who the new arrival was, Tony was still staring absent mindly at the floor.

"I think you're in luck, Tony." McGee said, a large smile appearing on his face. Tony's head snapped up and he turned on the spot to follow McGee's line of vision. There, standing at the edge of the bullpen for the first time in what felt like months (though it had really only been a few weeks) stood Ziva David, accompanied with a large back pack and NCIS Visitor's pass.

It took a moment, but the shock wore off and Abby squealed happily as she ran forwards to hug the former agent. "Ziva!" She cried, squeezing her tightly.

"Oh, Abby! I cannot breathe!" Ziva said.

The forensic scientist released her. "Sorry. I'm just so glad you're back." She smiled. Ziva grinned at the goth, and hugged her.

"It is good to see you, Abby." Ziva said, releasing Abby and smiling widely. "McGee!" She greeted, hugging the younger male agent tightly.

"Hey, Ziva," he replied happily.

Next was Gibbs, who simply smiled and brought the young former-agent into a hug, placing a small kiss on her forehead. "It's good to see you, Ziver." He said softly.

She smiled up at him. "You too," she said.

Finally, she turned to the Senior Field Agent who was staring at her from in front of the plasma on the far end of the bullpen. A silence fell over the squad room as the two locked eyes. Ziva stepped forward and stopped in front of Tony, not breaking the eye contact.

After a few more moments of silence (the pair could feel the other three members of the team holding their breaths and watching them closely), Ziva finally started to speak. "Tony I -"

He held up a hand motioning for her to stop talking. "I know." He said. "What are you doing here?"

She shrugged. "Couldn't live without you, I guess." She replied.

Tony smiled widely, and pulled Ziva into him, kissing her with everything he had. He didn't care that Abby, McGee, Gibbs, and possibly everyone in the squad room was watching. All he cared about what that she was home, and as the two broke apart, he knew from the look in her eyes that she was here to stay. That was all that mattered.
