Stable : Final Flight

The days were dark, nights were even darker. Dark enough that it was like the moon never existed. Not even the sun either. The black death that was cursing Equestria was the dark hearted city of Staliongrad. Their factories were now at the peak of smokiness. The waters ran brown, infected with crude oil and other contaminants. That was the effect of the neglectful maintenance of the factories inside Staliongrad. Ponyville, Fillydelphia, and most notably Cloudsdale were fed up with the smog. But Manehatten was over the top enraged over the deadly shadow. The three less enthralled towns/cities had no technical solutions over the issue. But Manehatten's recent endeavor, dubbed the Manehatten Project, has given a darkly violent soulution to the problem. While nuking a city is heart less and could make the pollution worse. It would spark a chance of healing. Allowing life to seep in, then pour into the closed floodgates of Equestria. It was a tough decision between Celestia and the current mayor of Manehatten at the time, Mayor Cup. The call was deemed approved. That drop on Staliongrad was the last one it ever saw.

Nuclear fire and radiation flooded the streets of Staliongrad. Melting any ice and ponies it came in contact with. But Celestia made one extra step ahead of the mayor. She gave Staliongrad a heads up, allowing some ponies to duck into cover. Into the newly made Stables, designed for transport across cities. But after the devastation that the city took, it was deemed that no-pony survived. It was a dead city. Stripped of its life and structure. It was a lost cause for Celestia's efforts to save innocent and tortured lives.

Or was it?
