His Curiosity and His Answer by crystalamaris

A.N.- Really... don't ask about this too much. It was yet another silly idea while at Bingo (where all my silly ideas come from... lol) Based off of something I said. I started thinking about the situation, and wrote down the basic idea on my cellphone's notepad... then continued on to write the rest of the story in different pieces on my notepad, as I can only write 300 letters per note, and quickly reached max on each of the six little notes I wrote. I'll write a full description of what happened after the story. And then, hopefully you'll understand it a little more.

Disclaimer: I don't, and never will, own Tales of the Abyss. The good people at Namco and Bandai do.

Warning: Hints of yaoi inside. If you don't care for yaoi, don't read. However, they're not very strong.

The Albiore was quiet. Just a little too quiet. And it made Jade nervous, though he'd never admit it. Anise was sleeping in a chair, Noelle was flying them to their next destination (Chesidonia at that moment), Natalia and Tear were holding a whispered conversation, as not to wake Anise or the cheagle sleeping in the melodist's lap.

However, Luke and Guy were nowhere in sight. Upon questioning, Tear informed him that Luke wasn't feeling well and went to go sleep, and Guy went to check up on him.

A sly grin sliding across his face (and disapearing before anyone could process it was even there) Jade thanked her and went down to check on the redhead, and possibly tease him for getting sick.

He reached the last door and opened it...

And regretted it as Luke's words reached his ears.

"And then the chair ran away with my butt!" Luke's face was flushed, and he was slightly sweating and panting for breath. One hand waving in the air (almost hitting Jade when he walked in) and the other clasping the apparently offending chair.

Not really wanting to know, and really sorry he even walked in on the obviously delusional conversation Luke was having with Guy, Jade turned and lefted, closing the door behind him. Some things were better left alone.

"Is he gone?" Luke asked, releasing the chair and craning his head to look behind him

"Yes Luke. Jade has left. But... The chair ran away with your butt?"

"It was the first thing that popped into my head." Luke waved a casual hand, not really caring.

"We're going to have to tell them about us soon."

"Yes, but not now."

"Idiot."

"Heh"

"What are you going to say if he asks about that?"

"I'm sick, remember? I'll just act like I didn't know what I was saying."

"You really are delusional..."

"Yes..." Luke reached over and grabbed Guy's shirt, pulling him closer. "However, where were we before you heard Jade coming down the stairs?"

"Doing this..." Guy claimed Lukes lips as their journey continued on.

Jade never did ask about it, and warned Tear from going to check on the replica, unless she wanted to listen to his rambling.

A.N: Okay... The story behind this... random thing. I was sitting at bingo with my feet kicked up on the chair on the other side of the table. Somehow or another, that chair shifted, and I slid forward. When my brother looked at me trying to figure out what happened, I told him that the chair ran away with my butt... Yes... I know it's strange. Sorry. *slams head into nearest wall*
