I am Old
Older than many countries
But I shouldn't be here
I shouldn't continue existing!
My country isn't there goddam it
How can I still exist?
How should I exist?
In this world where I can't even save myself
Or my citizens
From their fate
I may not have lived as long as China
But I do know that I shouldn't be here
At less than half my strength
trying to keep up in a world so fast
It's like I'm watching a movie in slow motion
as slowly the world forgets the Great Prussian empire
Now all that is left are vague half remembered jot notes
The only thing that remains to tell my story
