Hands of god: prologue

The streets of vale were dark. Not a soul was out and the only sound was the wind. Footsteps began to echo, before the sound of a bell chimed out.

A young Faunus boy woke from the cold concreate floor he called bed. The boy had white hair, bright amber eyes, and was wrapped with an old cloak. His Faunus ears were tall and that of a foxes.

He slowly stood up without the use of hands, and looked at the store across from him. The sign above the store read "From dust till dawn". He could see several men wearing suits and a man wearing white with a cane. He knew both the owner and the men who had entered the store. He thus began to walk across the street.

He arrived at the other side of the road before the front window shattered and out came one of the goons, and a girl in red. He watched curiously as a large scythe unfolded from a little box that she held. The dance that followed captivated him. He was entranced by her movements. She was like a rose, that when you reached to grab it you'd meet the deadly thorns.

One of the goons she had taken out got up once more and lifted his red blade to swing. Everything was slow as the boy looked about for something to use. He stared at another red blade on the ground before he looked at the goon about to attack once more. Suddenly the blade rose of the ground and was flung at the man, the blunt end hitting the goon in the head with a loud thud.

Red turned and looked at him giving him a nod before resuming with the remaining goons. In a moment it was over and only one man was left, a man who was known as "Roman Torchwick". The boy couldn't care any less for what he was saying but did note that red went chasing after him, and in turn he ran to follow her.

However he stopped and stared angrily at the ladder to the roof that they were all on. He let out a sigh before turning around and walking across the road from the ladder. He turned to face it once more and ran. His cloak fluttered, and then he jumped. One foot after the other he ran up the wall, the laws of physics didn't apply at all as each step only pushed him up and not away from the wall, furthermore his speed was fast enough to accomplish even a similar feat.

Just before the roof he pressed off flipping over into the air, he was a few dozen feet in the air quickly assessing the situation. He could see "red", another woman, who seemed like a huntress, who was using glyphs on an aircraft, who had a woman throwing fireballs down upon them.

Suddenly red felt a tug on one of her ammo belts, she watched as a bullet was pulled from it and flung through the air. The bullet didn't go off, at least not until it bounce in the aircraft behind the fire lady. Then it went off grazing the woman's leg.

She stumbled before the aircraft took off. Not only did the aircraft take off, so did the boys cloak, which revealed a young Faunus who was missing both of his arms. Without so much as a word he looked back at Red and gave her a friendly smile, before he jumped off the roof. The woman or witch quickly darted for him shouting. No sane person would jump off the building but what she saw was the boy casually walking down the side of building before walking off down the street. The moment she turned around she was greeted with "Red's amazement for being a huntress. A few words later and the two were leaving the roof. Red stopped and picked up the fluttering cloak the stranger left behind.
