Hey, this is Elie!! I just wanted to let you all know that this was the very first fic that I had ever written about Kyo and Tohru. Before, I had been a big Y/T romance fan but then after I finished watching the DVD's and I couldn't get over the feeling that there should have been some sort of love confession from Kyo to Tohru instead. Haha and that's how I came up with this idea. It's a One-Shot fic. Hope you all like it!!! XD

Something to Tell You…

She's looking at me.

Staring at me with those big eyes of hers. I can't help myself. I can't stop looking at her. And now here it comes.

The answer to my confession.

How could I have been so stupid as to tell her exactly how I feel about her?

But she had to know.

I had to tell her exactly how she makes me feel when I'm around her. How my heart beats faster every time she glances at me. How I love that goofy smile she gives when she's remembering something about her mom.

Everything she does is intoxicating.

And now she speaks.

Now is the moment that I will find out if I will either be rejected or loved by Tohru Honda.

"Kyo, I don't know what to say. I just-" Tohru tries to reply, but Kyo suddenly interrupts her.

"You know, you don't have to say anything if you don't have the same feelings for me…I understand." Kyo says sadly, his eyes are averted to the ground.

They were standing in the middle of the forest going to Shigure's house. The breeze gently blew across their faces, and the forest was alive with the blooms of spring. It was all too perfect and Kyo could only hope that it would stay that way.

" I had to let you know, though…I just wanted to-"

"But, Kyo! There's something I've been wanting to tell you too," she sighs before she continues speaking in her sweet voice. "There is not a moment that goes by when I don't think about you, Kyo. I hadn't realized it till that day when you first transformed into your true form. After that moment, that's when I knew…I love you…I love you more than anything," she finished in a soft whisper, her eyes settled softly onto his, revealing all that her soul was harvesting.

They stare at each other for a while before Kyo gets the courage to gently reach for Tohru's face. He draws her close to him; tilting his head, he softly kisses her lips. He notices how nervous she looks, but she willingly gives into the sweet and delicate kiss.

There kiss only lasts for a few seconds, but to Kyo it felt much longer. After a moment, Kyo regains his composure and looks into the eyes of the beautiful girl in front of him.

"Tohru, I never thought that a guy like me would ever be loved by a girl like you," he smiles before he kisses Tohru again. "I love you," Kyo whispers in between the small kisses that he's giving Tohru all over her blushed face.

They had been out in the forest most of the afternoon and now their moment was coming to an end by the beauty of the setting sun. To Kyo's surprise, Tohru decides to walk hand in hand with him. As they walk back to Shigure's house, Kyo begins to think to himself.

She really doesn't know how happy she makes me. But slowly I will show her how much she means to me.

Until then, all I can do is savor this moment.

The moment that mended my broken heart.
