The GaGa Collection: Speechless

This is part of a series of one-shots based around Lady GaGa lyrics and about Finn/Puck.

Puck lay there in the wake of a new morning, his eyes lingering on the body beside him.

Finally, last night, he had had enough. And when going to drop Finn off at home after football practice, he had leant over and kissed the lips that had been murmuring incoherently all evening. It had been long over-due.

What he hadn't expected was Finn to kiss him back with equal enthusiasm – his steady Quarterback hands grabbing at Puck's head and pulling him closer.

What came as even more of a shock was that he had been able to drive home after that, Finn silently sitting shot-gun; any previous ideas about going home shoved firmly out of the window.

When they pulled up into Puck's drive he had halted the engine and flew out of the car – cursing himself as he went round to open the passenger door: it wasn't like Finn was a chick or something. Come to think of it, it wasn't even the sort of effort he did make with girls.

Stepping shyly from the car, Finn followed Puck into the house – their fingers were interlinked but he tried not to think about it; walking was proving enough of a problem as it was.

Puck didn't bother to be discrete. In the unlikely event that anyone else was home, he knew they wouldn't care enough to notice who he was dragging into his bedroom or what he intended to do once he got there.

And while it may not have been the best sex ever, it had been with Finn which kind of out-ruled all other ranks and comparisons. He ran his hand through Finn's hair, smiling as the other boy opened his eyes, sleepy in the morning light.

Usually Puck would have had something light-hearted and witty to say – something to completely ruin the moment – but the words got stuck in his throat.

It was so cliché that he couldn't bear to admit it even to himself, but Finn left him speechless.
