Why did my family have to die? Why am I cursed with these powers? I thought as I walked through The Barrens. Whats that? Footsteps! Probably some poor soul that is after the large reward on my head. " Come out of the bushes I can hear you, I do not wish to hurt you." I said as I turned to the bushes in question, as I turned I saw the most beautiful woman, about my age, dressed in yellow, black, and red plate wielding a two handed sword ( The Ashbringer.) step out of the bushes. "Hello miss. If it's not too much may I ask your name." I ask politely with a smile. " My name Zealous is Searaphim The Champion of the light." She said returning my smile. " It is nice to meet you Searaphim, as you already know my name I will not state it." I stated. " Zealous do you wish to know why I am here talking to you?" She asked quietly. "Yes I do." I whispered dreading the answer thinking about the last time I lost control. " I am here to train you in the ways of the paladin." She said.
