UNconfessed Love

I close my eyes and you're there,

From the start it has always been you,

I tried denying it, yet you haunt me in my dreams.

You were my best friend and we couldn't cross that line;

I tried hiding the feelings I had by confessing

A fake to another, yet you saw right through me

And I still deny, I run away, far away,

But you chased me, followed me, and found me.

Guess I was never any good in hide&seek,

Pushed you away and screamed

And when you were gone, this time for real,

Nowhere to be found, I'm all alone now,

I wait for your return. A teary crow lit on my window sill

Tears poured down my face. I screamed, the heavens cried with me,

Why didn't I admit it? Why did I deny it?

I love you I love you I love you.

I weep and think about you to this day.

I open my eyes, and you're there,

Waves of happiness should flood my body,

Yet I stand there speechless,

Because you're there, but with another…
