He was outside sitting in his car, waiting patiently, for me. Michelle, the playful one, was sitting in the front seat, window rolled down and slightly moving her body to the flow of the music on the radio. Sarah, the smart one, was in the backseat just quietly waiting.

I finally exited the house by providing my mother with a teeny tiny white lie, agreeing to be back in an hour. I was wearing a white blouse and jeans and he was wearing a green t-shirt and jeans.

I got into the car, and we greeted each other in the normal colloquial fashion. He started driving and Michelle decided we should go to the first store that reminds us of Wal-Mart. Since we are just there to hang out and do not really care where we go or what we do, we all agree with her.

I was the one who spotted it. I was the one who had to go in first. I was in there for no more then five minutes when I spotted them in an open corner next to a wooden shelf. Sarah was sitting on a stool admiring something that I could not make out and Michelle was flirtatiously arguing with him. Her hand was pulling him away from the exit and closer to her.

I looked at my watch and realized that my time was up. I told them I was going to walk home, but he was the only one who heard. The closest exit was between them and me. I easily slipped past Sarah and Michelle, but when I walked past him he grabbed my arm and started to walk with me. Michelle let go of his other arm, which made it around my waist.

As I was stroking the arm around my waist, I looked up at him and he said "you know, whenever I am around you, everything just seems to fall into place."
