Prelude – Moosh
Author's Note: This is actually the prelude to two things His Cheshire Cat Grin and In a Beam of Sunlight. I'd actually written this about 6 years ago but forgot to upload it. If you're interested, please check out the other fics on my profile.
There was a thump as a beautiful boy dropped from the tree like ripe fruit.
Hermione Granger certainly thought that was an apt description as his face was much better looking than many boys in her class, mostly due to puberty. She and Ginny exchanged looks that told her Ginny whole-heartedly agreed with her. However it must be noted that in later discussions of said boy while left alone in their tent, the girls were entirely unable to decide upon which fruit Cedric most resembled.
Ginny pointed out that he was a Hufflepuff, making him quite an exotic delicacy to the Gryffindor girl, and his smile was so sweet that the boy could only be a mango. She couldn't help but hope he was also soft and sensitive on the inside too, though if a mango were sensitive, it would probably be in agony when it was consumed and that, in Hermione's all too logical view, would be quite an inhumane thing to do.
However, licking or nibbling or even sucking upon the sweet and supple mango, with all its delicate sensibilities, would probably give it such bouts of pleasure that the poor fruit would turn into a gooey pile of moosh.
There was a pause in the conversation as both girls thought they heard a gasp outside their tent.
Hermione opened the tent flap, but saw no one anywhere near their tent in the darkness. A little unsettled, but relieved, she went back in.
The moon shone down benignly upon one hopeful boy who had hidden himself in the shadows. He had just eavesdropped on the sort conversation that he had never thought to be the subject of and his youthful mind could not help but wander especially since the Golden girl of Gryffindor was the one talking about turning him into a pile of moosh that had been pleasured a little too much.
He had been waiting and hoping for three years for this chance.
All other bets were off; Cedric Diggory was going in for the kill.
