Finally
Everyone had been waiting for this wedding since the two had first met, Harry knew. Even though the bride and groom had bottled up their feelings for one another till a few years ago, everyone in attendance had known that this day was inevitable. Harry watched his best friend walk down the aisle to his best mate, and even though he had predicted this day for years it still seemed unreal to him.
He thought back to the start of term feast when they were being sorted and Ron had muttered something about Hermione being mental. And how furious Hermione had been when Ron was acting like a total git at the Yule ball fourth year. He thought back to when Ron had been going out with Lavender and the birds Hermione had sent flying into him. But even though there had been lots of fights between the two there had also been a lot of signs that were blatantly obvious that they had feelings for each other.
The way they both reacted when the other one was in danger. Or the looks they gave each other when the other wasn't looking, and the daydreaming. He smiled when he thought about how on the night of the Final Battle at the most inopportune time they had finally expressed their feelings to each other.
"I know pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Weasley." Harry clapped and watched his best friends walk back down the aisle.
He took Ginny's arm and they followed behind as best man and maid of honor, "I'm so happy for them." She smiled.
"Yeah it was about time." He laughed.
A few hours later at the reception he stood up to give his toast, "First let me say congratulations to my two best mates." Everyone clapped and Hermione gave him a teary eyed smile. "I also would like to express the thoughts everyone is probably thinking at this very moment….FINALLY!" the whole room erupted in laughter. "We all have been waiting for this day for a LONG time, I know I have. I've seen the two of you look at each other when you though nobody was looking, not to mention the numerous fights you two have gotten into. But over the years even if you guys didn't know it was happening I have seen you two fall in love, and I am so happy for you." Harry sat back down and smiled, again thinking FINALLY.
