I absolutely loved the Danny and Kara reunion. I just got this idea and wanted to elaborate a little more on their moment. Hope you enjoy! :)

"I can do this," Kara muttered to herself as she flipped the safety off her weapon. Tex had gone around the other side and she moved quickly to get to her position. She leaned against a train car and looked out from the side. Two men were armed and patroling. She took a deep breath and prepared to fight. A hand suddenly clamped over her mouth and her mind went crazy. Frankie She was all he had now that she'd lost Danny. She kicked behind her wildly and tried to bite down on the hand that was over her mouth.

"Shh. It's me," a voice whispered firmly, but gently in her ear. She froze and the arms loosened from around her. Danny? It couldn't be. She turned around wide eyed and tears filled her eyes as she stared at her husband confused.

"It's me," Danny assured. Kara let out a sob and he immediately pulled her into his arms. Danny inhaled the faint scent of her peach shampoo and felt like he was home. He suddenly pulled back, remembering their son.

"Frankie?" he asked frantically. Kara nodded touching his arm.

"He's safe. I sent him away with my mom and Jed," she assured him. Danny smiled at her and touched her cheek.

"Look at you, badass," he whispered and she launched herself into his arms again. This time kissing him multiple times. Danny leaned her against the train car, putting his hands on both of her cheeks and kissed her passionately.

"I thought you were dead. I saw the James..." Kara trailed off against his lips.

"Decoy. I'm sorry you thought," he began. Kara cut him off with another kiss. Danny rested his forehead on hers and she smiled at him.

"I've really missed you, you know?" she whispered.

"I'm so proud of you. Thank you for keeping our son safe," Danny told her as he pulled back slightly to take her in again.

"Come on. The CNO is going to be happy to see you," Danny answered.

"I gotta find Tex and get the president," she started to walk from the direction she'd came from. Danny grabbed her and pulled her back, protectively.

"Tex? You found him?" he asked surprised. Kara nodded.

"He was the only one I could trust on American soil," she told him honestly. Danny had never felt more quilty than he did in that moment. He'd left the mother of his child and his child in a place they'd all thought was safe and secure when it had turned out to be quite the opposite.

"Don't. We're all ok. It's going to be ok, now," Kara interupted his thoughts. She gave him another firm kiss on the lips and he grabbed her hand. She noticed moisture on his hand and inspected it in the dim light.

"Danny, you're bleeding... Oh God. I bit you," she realized in horror. Danny smirked and brushed his hand on his pants.

"It's ok; I've had much worse. You did what I would've wanted you to do. I shouldn't have grabbed you like that. I just didn't want you to make a noise," Danny told her honestly. Kara smirked and nodded.

"Come on. Let's go find the others and get you a vest," he said motioning to her outfit that offered no protection. Kara nodded in agreement.
