There doesn't seem to be a place for Enid Blyton so I've decided to put
this story in Miscellaneous, which makes sense. Blah blah blah this is an
extremely short story.
This story has been inspired by "The Faraway Tree" and "The Folk of the
Faraway Tree" and yes, surprise surprise, these characters are not mine,
and I do not make any attempt to pretend they are.
If you've never read those books Saucepan man is deaf and rhymes words or
repeats them instead of the actual word. Moonface is some guy with a
moonface and the rest are just people. This all takes place in the top of a
really big tree.the Faraway Tree! Yay! So here it is:
Fanny and Dick were having a good time, a very good time. Along came the Saucepan man. "Hello, are you having a good time?" he inquired, loudly. "Yes we are, please go away!" Fanny and Dick replied "Oh, you want me to stay!" so Saucepan man sat down. "Er .not exactly" said Dick "Exactly? I thought so". Along the branch walked Whatshisname, "I am a sick old man. I want to watch". He sat down next to Saucepan man, "Please Continue". He (Whatshisname) then ripped of his face and underneath was a man we know as Snape, but in this land is called Moonface. "Moonface you sick old man," cried Fanny, "What did you say - he can join, he can?" yelled Saucepan man. Dick and Fanny had slipped away while all this was going on to get some honeycakes for Moonface.
