Poe wrapped his arms around Finn after spooning up behind the man he loved. "Shut up, let's sleep. You can do your walk of shame later," he whispered against Finn's neck.
"My what?" Finn asked, turning towards Poe with furrowed eyebrows.
"Walk of shame. It's when you sneak back to where you should be after being with someone," Poe whispered, "trust me, there's no real shame in it. It happens around here all the time."
"As long as you're sure that it's okay," Finn replied, "I don't want to be in trouble."
"Nah, unless you mind people knowing that you and I are together," Poe continued to whisper as he kissed Finn gently behind his ear, sending the former stormtrooper into a light fit of pleasured shivers. "Goodnight Finn."
The pair drifted off to sleep, wrapped in each other and Poe's bedding, both of them wearing small smiles.
The next morning Finn woke up before Poe did; and not wanting to wake Poe up, he continued to lay in his lover's arms. Smiling lightly to himself, he thought about how Poe might look while he was asleep. There was no doubt in his mind that Poe looked as perfect when he was asleep as he looked when he was awake. Turning his head slightly, he smiled at the confirmation that his assumption was right. Poe's face looked calm and even more perfectly angelic than it usually did.
Finn felt Poe begin to stir, as if he was about to awaken. Turning his head back, Finn shut his eyes. He didn't want Poe to know that he had been watching him sleep. Finn felt Poe touch his neck lightly, sending him into another fit of shivers.
"Finn buddy, I know you're awake. Do you want to say something?" Poe asked, sleep clouding his voice.
"Sorry for waking you Poe," he replied, turning onto his back.
"You didn't wake me up, my body is programmed to wake up around this time. As I'm sure yours is as well. But I was thinking, maybe when Rey gets back, we could all spend some time together. I didn't really get to know her, except when we were both visiting you in the med bay," Poe said, "you two are friends and I'd like to get to know her."
Finn's face brightened. "That's a great idea Poe."
"I thought so. Anyways, if you want to wash and get dressed before the General is expecting us, I think it's time for you to do your little walk," Poe said with a smile. "Even though there's nothing I want less than for you to leave."
Finn rolled slightly and got off of the bed. He slipped his clothing from the day before on before leaning down to kiss Poe lightly. "See you soon Poe."
"See you soon buddy," Poe said, sighing as Finn left.
Finn moved quietly and quickly back to his bed, grabbing a new set of clothes before heading to the showers. His 'walk of shame' hadn't been that bad, and he'd certainly do it again for Poe.
