Trapped
The walls close round me.
There's no door to escape.
No window to look through.
To see what I could've been.
My breathing is raspy.
I scream as I wander.
But it can't be heard in this room.
This room that can't be seen.
I see well, but I see dark.
I feel small in this world.
My heart has no space.
I fear my tears will be dried.
My hands are cold and burning.
I'm paralyzed, yet running fast.
This pain can have none and many cures.
This pain from which I cried.
